We can still get some feeback of community on stf or not. But it is not my will.

I want the teams to be composed by mains, those are the chars that everyone knows them under, i want the nations  to be represented by these guys. And some builds are only effective at higher levels. looms, high levels are all aprt of this game, people work up to this.

who cares if X is more skilled then Y. If Y is more battle effective then X, I'm taking Y!

No, I'm not new to cRPG. I just don't see what the point is to have a tourney that doesn't promote equality but promotes grinding the play to have better gear. It's about as big as a joke the competitive scene is in WoW.

i would say as this tournament is a joke you could just admit it is a joke and make it a good one. i personally wouldn't enter this contest because of the inequalities (besides i'm not a very good player), but everyone can do it for the lulz and i doubt someone could have anything against that.
i mean football is a big joke too. (national teams buy good players if they can afford it, crazy business) i'm not forced to watch it though and i never do, so i'm fine.

debating over all this is for the moment useless. Of course you are free to not join if you believe this cup is a joke (wich is a joke in itself because we are still getting it up).

I believe we will have many people who will be happy to join and wont feel terribly left behind by the fact some of players have more looms then them.

We are spending our time and using our ressources to get it up...gee....

When I entered the EU cav tournament as a wide-eyed ambitious American, I had 0 polearm WPF, a destrier, only 5 riding, a non loomed red tunic, and my dear MW heavy lance, topped off with high NA ping.  I went against nothing but 7+ riding champion arabian pure cavalry builds, made for maximum lethality in cav combat and fighting on their homeland.

When I left the EU cav tournament, I left.. a champion.

Looms don't make you good.  Levels don't make you good.  Ping doesn't make you good. 

The only thing that matters is the country you came from, and the man who you are.

Let this tournament decide who amongst us truly belong in the pantheon of the greats.

Let those who whine in this thread, stick to DTV and Rage Ball.

I will see all those who represent their countries in the tournament when the design is done, on my main character, with all of my sweet gear, and my pro skills.  What will you bring?
