Nerfing armor doesn't make killing people harder. Well, atleast when the said person you want to kill doesn't bounce on your own armor.

I was refering to this:
In my opinion, in case something like this can be implemented  the game will become more realistic
if hp  lost  -15% then speed= ( Ath - 10 % )  and swing = ( WP - 10 % )  ,
Which is terribad idea. Cripple fights do not appeal to me.
« Last Edit: January 23, 2012, 09:41:01 pm by Tears of Destiny »
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

No they did that in the Floris mod for single player. It's pretty horrific if you get injured within the first 2 seconds of fighting.

I agree :D

I think not many players will change to pikes, as this weapon doesn't really pay for anything. Three slots, unsheathable, unbalanced, can't stab through ground or fight on slopes at all, too much glancing and the goddamn shield bubble around the horse's chest/lower neck make it still an incredibly ungrateful choice. Some will try for a time, so you will always have a certain amount of them on the servers, but they will be bad (what else, with such a weapon?) and thus not make any difference.

Pike is ok in my opinion, but doesn't work unless you have a lot of STR to avoid all the glances. The problem is exactly the same as shielder vs ranged. It's only a defensive counter that prevents you to die from those classes if you use it correctly, but doesn't allow you to kill them.

They did that to the UT99 Infiltration mod and ruined the fun.

Nothing about our poor ranged my old friends?  :?

Edit: I will use the quick post I have made to state the following thing:

In my eyes it is completely unfunny if you post...

... Mod is once again alive and kicking
... you killed the mod
... 1st! 2nd! or 3rd!

and similar "jokes". It's because jokes don't get funnier if you repeat them over and over, and I am really tired to read those wannabe-funny comments, instead of a real discussion about the changes. This trolling humour is the last resort for humourless people, because everybody can troll, and it somehow gained the reputation of being funny, but alas... it isn't...

Lighten up Francis.

Stop nerfing shit, and slowing down the game further. Do we really want to make it even harder and slower to kill someone by adding a cripple feature?
And what if you lose 85% at the beginning of battle? Or after being teamhit? Fuck that kind of realism in GAME.

Crossbows already have this feature when it rains, why not melee?  Great Idea!  Then melee can be as annoyed as crossbowman when the game messes with their timing and play constantly.

I can't play the game unless I use the launcher and select "repair" each time I play.  This is ok, except when I repair it overwrites any textures or sounds that I overwrote to mod the mod.  If I don't use "repair" when launching, the game crashes each time upon entry.

Any suggestions?

Pike is ok as it is. Just wish they would fix the ground collision on it. If I'm on a slope of more than about 25* I hit the ground more then my opponent.

Perhaps one of the mods you're trying to use is making a conflict with the game, or might not be updated.

The good old trial and error kicks in.

Do you also have the latest version of Warband installed from Taleworlds?  I had a problem with Rageball until I did that.
