+HA nerf
+DTV is better now
+Throwing is worth your skill points now.
-Crossbows are still too good, it doesnt even require anything for you to be able to aim and shoot, it also does a lot of dmg.
-Arrow speed
-Upkeep (its too high, the only way to gain more gold than you lose is to have a x5 all the time, which nobody does)
-Lance rotation (This is just ridicolous, everything is a threat to a lancer now, even a 1h, also now 1h cav is better now and they can probably reach as far as lancers can right now, I think the lance rotation should be higher, maybe 60 instead of 40)

I have to add some things now that I have played a bit longer and with other chars:

- 1h invisible range on horseback.  Still not fixed? o.O  1h cav can kill people who are about 2 meters away from them
- lancing. It is ridiculous how lancing works now. The radius is way too small...

Its been said many times before, but a good archer is about more than damage and kills. On an open plains map, the archers can support their infantry with precise shots into the enemy's flank, disrupting their attacks and blocks and allowing the friendly infantry to take the kill.

that is good and all, but with the new arrow speed there are no more precise shots, just aiming way ahead, and hoping the target continues on course.  IT is near impossible to shoot into combat now.  Before it was risky, now it is stupid.

- Arrow speed.  Please go back to last version!

I have to agree. Precise shots are currently a thing of the past.

I should add a +: Fewer tin cans. I think this is good for game balance.

My opinions and thoughts on the recent changes:

- Archery missile speed change (Yes, I know i'm an archer).
- Website password (it's not as secure as my bank account but is hellishly annoying to remember the password when I clear my cookies every week.)
- Subsidising a newbie player who I have to listen to complain about upkeep. (As an archer, it hasn't effected me, but as he is a melee, he says he is struggling, or he is just swindling me for money.)
-/+ Throwing change, hasn't effected me in the slightest but it's nice to see that the throwers got a bit of love.
+ Naturally the return of the basic strategus, whether or not buggy and in need of testing (what we're doing I suppose) it's still nice to have something to keep me in the community while I wait and see what happens with the patches.

I'm being 1 shot by 1handed swords but failing to kill people with a couch at full charge on a champion courser.

Somethings borked. I can accept the nerf to lance damage (faster heavy lance means less stab damage) and the arc nerf but this is ridiculous when I get 1 shot in 60 body armour and 5 IF by a 1hander and can't 1 shot people with my lance that are in leather (full speed, 6 PS) or people in half-plate with a couch.

+ New lancing on cav : it's just awesome ; expensive but still really powerfull, and way more dangerous. I also have the feeling cavalry players unconsciously cooperate more with each other (one bumping, the other kills, or just one charging a piking so he focuses on him so that the other one can lance him from the back or flanks). It's more thrilling, more challenging, I just love it. The one bad point is the damage nerf, I really often lance at full speed and do not kill my opponent... While I get one shot by a pike thrust or 2 hander swing.
+ 2 handers nerf : no big deal, there was no reason why heirlooming it would give more bonuses than on a polearm or one hander. And hey, it's not like my MW nodachi had become a shitty weapon with one less speed...
+ small horse archery nerf (first one was waaaay too much, the second one is still good)
+ throwing buff : powerfull, not overpowered.
+ 2 slots thing for shields which weight is above 8
+ Security on website

+ / - archery nerf : missile speed was nerfed too much. I would have it higher (even close to the pre-patch value), with maybe a little less accuracy. Damages seems fine. Maybe less damages on bows (cut), a little more on arrows (pierce)
+ / - wait and see, but the repair system seems fine now. Nothing wrong with the old one though

- crossbows are still too powerfull. You should have greaaaat accuracy nerf when you use it without profiency or with low profiency. Crossbow specialists (100+ wpf) being able to snipe, OK, but right now, accuracy with 0 wpf is ridiculous.
- polearm stun still make them really to much better than 2 handers. When I compare my MW long hafted blade with my MW nodachi, it is faster than the nodachi, has more reach, does a little less damages but has the stun, and is cheaper... A slight speed / damage nerf to compensate the stun might be good.

-No new items which is a huge - for me.(I know there are plenty of items waiting for approval...)
-New glance and armour soak ratings . Now everything hurts,considiring projectiles are increasing continuosly... it is a general 2h and polearm nerf :(

Things that im not sure of:
Gamespeed increase ?
Problem of fps drops solved ?
Athletics is a good skill to invest now ?
Im not sure if those 3 came up with the patch.If they did, thx for implementing.

Also adding:

+ Daytime increase

-FPS drops
-Increasingly frequent game crashes.

I don't think I've been in game for more than 20 minutes at a time since the patch.
And yes, drivers are up to date, verified the integrity.

Edit: Game crashed within 2 minutes that time. /facepalm
What might have changed to make this so prevalent? It never happened before.

+ HA/Archery shot speed reduction= it was getting to be like fighting a swat team in NA battles(still is, but at least melee have a somewhat chance now)
+ Throwing viable again= while as primary melee they obviously contribute to my death(specially through staggers), it was sad to not see any, they're back....:)
+ End of Turret Lancing= at least now foot soldiers without a shield aren't completely borked, and good cav still tops the scores(ala huey_newton)
+ soak/reduce change=seems to benefit more build types being viable instead of just the "Hercules" build (max str)
+ new text is awesomesauce=makes people who did well in a round feel good
+ better names for stuff
+ MOAR SUN

- katana nerf(speed related to heirloom nerf)
- overall sword nerf
- bar mace non horseable now(when was this slipped in, shorter than a nordic champ that can be horsed, basically same as a moringstar that u can shield and horse...)
- wish armor weights changed to coincide with wpp loss so that fugly studded leather wasn't the only metachoice for the wpp afficionado

-Still no polearm Nerf, polearm stun is bullshit. Polearms have greater reach aswell as the same speeds at 2h, aswell as stun on majority of hits. Polearms just seem to be protected for some reason when they need some nerfing down. If anything at least get rid of the lame polearm stun.
-Archery shoot speed is too low now
-Upkeep was fine where it was, I personally still gain money, but I feel upkeep was fair where it was at
-Strategus map/website is pretty pathetic, looks very basic like it was made 10 yrs ago
-Crossbow damage is too strong. I however feel there should be less arch in shots, but the damage should be Nerfed down. This is also coming from a current xbowmen. Also its a lot easier to aim with crossbows compared to bows, so players with low proficiency in crossbows should take a big hit to their accuracy with one

I'm sure i'm forgetting lots of likes and dislikes of the patch, but these are the top things that stick out in my mind atm. Anyway i'm glad you're at least hearing some of the opinions and are open to feedback from your player base.

How far away are you guys standing? I am having no issues shooting into melee from a distance of 10-15 feet or so.
