It's ok that 2h stab is more realistic now. Nodachi never had one.
Even though the samurais like my favorite; Com Truise, stabbed bigboys with them.

I think after seeing the new attack stab ....
only way to use 2h weapons .....
  can be equip with weapons like the Miaodao or Dadao Morningstar and axes :shock:
with the new attack stab you can hit only one player drunk .....

If he has enough gold and no sense of style: Weimar Helmet +3, Gothic Plate with Bevor +3, Heavy Gauntlets +3, Ornamented Steel Greaves +3 and Flamberge +3. Build: 45/3 10IF 15PS 1WM at level 37. Stats: 83 head armor, 79 body armor, 75 leg armor, 100 HP, 45  wpf. Slow as fuck, hits like a truck. With new changes only archers and other STR builds will be able to do some damage. Guaranteed million points per round and valor. You bleed gold but you get some in return. Classic Ultramarine.

Unplayable right now. 6 rounds in a row all my equipment disappears and I'm left with 4 bucklers in my inventory. Hopefully it gets fixed before end of next week or else mod will actually be dead.

Personally I never used lolstab much as it felt wrong, especially the drag hit. If this patch means all the endless bloody whining about 2h now stops then great. However once GTX/Varadin/Wayne or whoever start owning with poles dont start up all the whinging all over again.

2h stab is horrible, not only is it the worst one out of 1h/2h/pole, but from players perspective its incredibly hard to make out the range, start and end of the stab, when it glances and when it hits etc. I'm against keeping this, pre-patch 2h stab was only the 2nd best anyways, didnt need downgrade.

I will say though, that i think it looks much better. I havent used it for more than 30 minutes to an hour though so my opinion may change on its functionality aswell but even if i would get used to it its way to similar in how it works compared to polearm stab. Which is pretty boring if they both are basically the same stab, and so less difference between both categories entirely.

Thats the only thing i could make out of the patch so far in all the chaos.

I think it's good. It should get people to stop complaining about it, and the delay and angle make for a great stealth feint.

Don't understand all that 2h stab whining. There was a vote about it. They asked if we want to change it first place and then gave different types of stabs. You chose it - they made.

Yes, and i voted No.. And i freakin dont understand Why da hell people voted Yes, ffs, its a question of good sense, the new anim is UGLY AS HELL ! You Cant even see where your are hitting !

hey chadz, u know whats a really good look for ur future projects? actually testing patches on ur current project, b4 you release it.\

not that it matters, crpg will be complete and utter trash until the high levels and gayass agi spammers get reverted. and thats not going to change, the meager difficulty increases are not going to make people stop going 18-24+. this mod had tons of diversity in the past. now all its got is a ton of high lvl players, most who dont bother going over 18 str and wont change their build EVER unless a wpf patch changed everything back to the way it was before tydeus fucked it all up. ( cuz u know, str was killing the mod...pfff, fucking idiots, look at the mod now )

time to move on, the glory days aint coming back to this shit mod.

Wayne is way better with polearms, although he uses lame build and gear. Long polearms are piss easy to use, unless you find yourself in confined space.

You are a bit too nasty against chadz. He is trying to make a good balanced mod, with the Mount and Blade engine (God damn), and he did, almost...(archery is the exception) but its impossible too really balance ALL CLASSES cuz the crpg system is based on Skillpoints. From this moment; It obligatory sucks for certains points.
So dont QQ about your melee stuff, Melee is OP as fuck man, dont contest that.

And of course, he is working on Melee:Battlegrounds, so I dont think he give a damn for the mod now, i mean, he dont have time ! Try to make a mod, and come back later please...
