How did you find out about crpg?

Played the single player + mods on and off for a good 3/4 year. When I was finally going to drop the game, wanted to check out multiplayer a little bit. Checked to see if there were any mods for multiplayer and cRPG came up (saw it but always ignored it until then).

I was referred by a friend a few years ago when I asked about the modding community.
He mentioned there was a somewhat popular multiplayer mod with leveling and a bunch of elitist players.
Figured I'd give it a go.

This mod alone broke my addiction to WoW, and that's saying something.

Been playing WB since beta, saw the mod on the warband server list, went to look it up and started playing way back in the oldskool days (no retirement, no gens, no looms, no clans, only 1 EU server that reset every 30 mins to save progress, character wipes etc). Then quit for a bit and came back on January 2011 I think.

I was going to say 4chan, but I think that's only where I found out about Warband.  I'm fairly certain I found out about cRPG from the talesworld website, browsing multiplayer mods.  The description told me it's like singleplayer but multiplayer, so I was sold right there.

Only wished I could have experienced old cRPG for more than 2 days.  I'd just saved enough money to buy my first bow back then too, and randomly killed some full plate guy accidentally because I was trying to shoot the peasant teammate next to him and hit his head instead.  Peasants have it way too easy these days.

Was like the only NA person who played at the time on the EU server besides a few others like Shik/Karazo/Onimaho. Actually all of the things in the poll kinda happened to me, I always saw those servers with cRPG on them and thought I could try it since people played there , my friends played it and told me about it, I also read about it on a page about Warband, and then finally I was searching for some Warband mods and cRPG was there so I downloaded.

Native servers became empty at about 11 o'clock UK time, always seemed some people on crpg.

Started playing more to learn to manual block, in native miss once and dead crpg far more forgiving and hence easier to learn in.

YEAH I REMEMBER THAT SHIT, I FOLLOWED SUIT WITH THE SAMURAI GAYSHIT BUT IT WAS AWESOME
