How did you find out about crpg?

My brother and a family friend (Apsalar and Serruntis, to those of you old time NA players) introduced me to Mount & Blade.

Randomly stumbled on the first Ripper cRPG video, I think.

Bramd_Unicorns told me I could be a ninja and since I'm good at knifing in cs 1.6, I'd enjoy this game.

I saw Fallen_Everkistus playing this mod irl bit over 3 years ago and he kept telling me to try it and here we are now. 3 years and over 3k hours ingame and still noob. ;__;

Friend of mine told me about the Steam sale and this kickass mod he discovered. I bought Warband for 5$ on 29.11.2010. and started playing cRPG.

I bought warband when it's released but i played native occasionally. Later at the university, in the Logical Design lesson my professor was giving examples inside of the game. It was like "When you aim at the M&B as an archer, ..." After the lesson i asked him that which server does he play because i thought he was playing in one of native servers. He told me that there is a mod and thats how it's all started.

An IRL friend convinced me after a long time to get the game. I tried it (about a year ago) and played c-rpg with him for a few days, but it was the hardest game that i have ever played as a beginner (especially considering I never played native first and c-rpg seems much harder to me), so I quit by the time I was like level 21. I had been playing as a shielder/1h because i couldn't block AT ALL. I started again in July, so about a few months ago, and I had nothing else to do at that time really so I just stuck with it (I respecced to 2h right when I started again so i'd be forced to learn blocking) and then once I improved a little it started to get a lot more fun so I kept playing. I have only really played with the guy who got me into it like once since coming back to try it again though, because he doesnt play anymore =P

Not a clue how or why i started playing it but i've never looked back, gotta of had some of the best moments of warband within cRPG, played it the most as well.

Also it's the only game that makes me rage and pisses me off.

I used to play the pirated Warband at the first stages it came out. I really only played the PW mod and the cracked servers where very much alive amazingly. Like multible servers occasionally went over 100 players at the same time.

Some wierdo ruskiesclan there had somehow managed to make a cracked Warbands Crpg server that acctually gave out gold and xp. I dunno how they managed that tbh. So I tried it. My first char was a kuyak wearing nikolskoe helmet having and longsword using mofo(because I didnt really know any better ). Ofcourse the rusikeserv ended rather fast so I decided to go legit eventually.

I saw Frumpty_Dumpty playing it when we were hanging out once at a LAN party. I was amazed until I actually got in the game and played it... Took a long time to get past the noobie stages.
