Did you try setting the textures to medium? When moving fast the game loads a lot of stuff and tends to exceed the VRAM usage estimated in settings by quite a bit.

Did you install the new Nvidia/AMD drivers that support GTA V? I was getting FPS stutter when driving fast until I installed the new drivers.

So, LTS is fun. But some of the maps are... weird.

Like one of the desert ones, mode is locked to pistols... then one team starts near a frigging jet? GG.

It's not quite true what he's saying about advanced options though. I can activate the three things with shadows and not lose a single FPS.

Did a little test. Everything on normal I had around 80 - 90 fps driving around, with small loading spikes of 75 ish for. Put everything on high and it went to constant 60 -65 with small drops to 55. So all in all pretty good.

Occasionally I am getting some strange lag spiking, game will be running real smooth then all of a sudden I am bombarded with FPS spikes for a short duration, but enough to fuck up whatever it is I am doing. It seems to happen more during races which is strange because I can race around the streets outside of set races just fine, so basically I can't play races because I just end up crashing due to big FPS lag spiking sooner or later. I kept settings below my V-cards 2gb limit and I even tried lowering them further, doesn't seem to change much, runs smoothly still and yet suddenly get the same FPS spiking. Made me rage twice this morning when I dropped from 1st place in races to last place all because I started getting massive FPS spikes for about 20 seconds, enough to effectively put me out of the race, I wanted to unlock stuff to do my car up .

Same here. The game runs smooth until I have driven for a minute or so (far away) and the game starts stuttering. It's like freezes that last half a second, and it's not very cool, and it doesn't matter how low I set the graphic options.
