Right now, best fun in freeroam is teasing the police and go on a rampage.
I had good fun doing that yesterday with Guray and with Keech...

...but that's not gonna be motivating for long.
Vibe's ideas are good and I hope that they gonna do some nice updates after the first bug fixing.
And there sure as hell will be DLC.

I've yet to do my first Heist, although I am rank 13 now. I am kinda hesitant cuz I wanna do the other stuff first and take the Heists on later with nicer equipment than I have now. Maybe I should give it a try tho.
And then there is the SP which is really fun too.

One thing that definitely improved tenfold since GTA 4 is police chases. Now that you don't need to get out of the search zone, it's a much more interesting game of hiding rather than running.

I hear rumours about Casino DLC. Also you can create a Server where only your friends can join or Crew only or Invite only. Yesterday I mostly stick with my friends rather than random people ( I generally get KOSd  )

I was so hyped when I noticed that you actually CAN hide behind some structures and they won't spot you, even passing by - no AI cheating.
Overall, Police AI has improved dramatically. Up from 3 Stars it becomes really tricky to survive/lose them. Especially helicopters. 4 stars is already barely survival. Never managed the 5th star but I sure keep working on it.
Main reason for a free roam rampage being entertaining and fun.

We should try a private crew server at some point and wreck havoc with 5+ people
How many players are Heists? Is it always a 4 man crew?

Maybe we can use some TS server and do some heists.

I'd rather them make a big expansion (bigger than Lost And Damned/Ballad Of Gay Tony) and introduce Las Venturas (Las Vegas) with fully working casinos. If not i hope next GTA takes place there.

Allright there is one thing pissing me off atm. The freaking launcher.Just now there was only 50 kb data to download in order to get in to the game..And connection to server lost. I was downloading with 20kb per sec because of their potato launcher. And when it started to download it started from the start... Now I have to wait another 50 mins for it to fuck up again and start downloading again..

Occasionally I am getting some strange lag spiking, game will be running real smooth then all of a sudden I am bombarded with FPS spikes for a short duration, but enough to fuck up whatever it is I am doing. It seems to happen more during races which is strange because I can race around the streets outside of set races just fine, so basically I can't play races because I just end up crashing due to big FPS lag spiking sooner or later. I kept settings below my V-cards 2gb limit and I even tried lowering them further, doesn't seem to change much, runs smoothly still and yet suddenly get the same FPS spiking. Made me rage twice this morning when I dropped from 1st place in races to last place all because I started getting massive FPS spikes for about 20 seconds, enough to effectively put me out of the race, I wanted to unlock stuff to do my car up .

Sounds like a  hitching issue, try turning off any advanced graphics settings you've got on.
