Sadly at the bonefire outside the pvp arena I kept getting invaded by the same korean dude. And since he was Korean I had to struggle with terrible lag, and ofc. I got backstabbed when I was 10 meters away.

Also, he was a "wrath of the god" spammer

One of the GameFAQs forum lurkers started a Dark Souls Fight Club on Steam.

Steam Community Page: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/dksfightclub

GameFAQs Thread: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/667257-dark-souls-prepare-to-die-edition/64183079

I haven't fought anyone in the fight club yet, but if you want to give it a go, there it is.

game isn't as good as I thought it would be, but its still pretty epic. for a start its a horrible port, glad I pirated and have a xbox controller, otherwise I would be extremely pissed. edit also dont have to login to GFWL ;)

the open level design, art, environments, setting etc. are all fucking amazing.

the combat is clunky, but ok once you get used to it. its designed around auto lock which is always a bad thing.

there is a subtle but big difference challenging and hard. dark souls is often the latter but rarely the former. there are never any puzzles (so far) and combat is mostly a battle of numbers, with a bit of timing.

anyway i'm keep playing but I might change class. cleric seems pretty useless when you can heal yourself with the flask, I never seem to need both.

inb4 fanbois give me infamy ;)

doing ok so far just beat the spider witch lady one. summoned 2 npcs so far both perished, not sure if they are coming back xD .

I couldnt find the bonfire in blightown, died so many times that I decided I was going to have to cheat. so yeah now im backing up my savegames! easy mode is much more fun than grindy repetitive normal mode ;)

NOOOOO YOU ARE RUINING THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE! Damn you! Also the combat is great for the game, lock on works perfectly once you get used to it, and lock on is not even necessary, I can fight without it no problem in fact sometimes it is more effective to not lock on. So you are on the sexy spider boss, you havent gotten very far then and your opinion will probably change when you have finished the game :)
