Problem with taking weapon length into account when deciding should there be turn speed nerf or not is that mauls will be "unerfed" and that's not a good thing imo.

Try fixing your hand-eye coordination first.

Yeah, it should be related to weight instead.

I don't actually mind it. Weight would be even worse than weapon length imagine the katana or the 1H swords. I think a case by case approach or a mathematical formula combining weight and distribution of weight would work.

A variant of the moment of inertia equation I=mr^2. Polearms and long or heavy weapons should be approaching the upper limit of the penalty which should cap out for fairness.

I play polearm but I prefer realism over "balance". Real world physics is often the best solution in my opinion and having cRPG as close to a real battlefield as possible should be the ultimate goal.
PK is back

PK is a collection of elites from throughout modern and ancient history. Giants of Calradia individually, as a group these gods of combat shatter all expectations and ascend to a higher plain of victory that only a few have seen before.

The turning nerf was a good change. It made the game more skill-based, instead of who can spin their mouse faster.

It's still terribly easy to land overheads. If you're having problems you're either not used to it, your athletics is too low or you're using a maul.

Sure overheads aren't as good as side-swings, but they never were anyway.

Gotta say that I have a awful habit of murdering my teammates as a hammer bro, which is a unfortunate consequence of things.

There was a enemy there when I let go, damnit.

Why is everyone so mad about mauler? Even I can kill them as soon as I have a little space to move around.
When west germany annexed east germany, nobody moved a finger too.

It's not, I had really good overhead accuracy before and I sometimes just can't keep up with my opponent turning. Overhead was my favourite attack and now it's a lot less good and I resort to leftswinging like the rest. Why would maul users have a hard time landing overheads anyway? Apart from ofcourse, that the turnrate nerf completely screwed the overhead of any short weapon, which isn't the case according to you.

I use short weapons all the time. Anything from 64 length to 98 and I land overheads all day long. Sure doing overheads is different now, but it's not hard at all. Instead of turning your mouse, you have to actually move your character's feet. With the combination of the two, it's terribly easy to put yourself into position for an overhead. Once you get better at it, you can start your overhead animation while you're still moving and land it as soon as you're in position.

Turning nerf was more of a nerf to people with low athletics, 'cause they have shit acceleration.

The reason it's harder for maul users, is a lot of them stack strength. Combined with mauls being incredibly slow, you have to have really good aim to use one well now or just have bad opponents. I still have fun beating the hell out of people with my long maul though.

Anyway the devs have said they aren't going to change it, so might as well get used to it. If people spent their time learning the new overhead instead of making posts about it, they would all know how to do it by now.

Devs said they'll reduce it for shorter weapons.
