Longest living clans?

In cRPG since 1st Sep 2010, at that time with clan-tag of "DRZ_". As far as I remember, at that time Templars were well established. There also were Shogunate, Guards, 22nd, and others.

If I remember correctly, the first fraction were created on strategus by templars, then shogunate ... they had ID 1 and ID 2, respectively, in the list of factions  DRZ as faction appeared much later

Although, for the sake of the topic, I'd have to make a distinction between oldest M&B clan and oldest cRPG clan, that is, a clan created by cRPG players and to mainly play cRPG.

I did some research on this with the wayback machine last october. It was discussed in the ninja thread. I could not trace any clan apart from staffmasters that had roots in cRPG that were older than Clan Ninja. The earliest info I could find about Clan Ninja is from June 26, 2010. I joined late august or early september 2010 and I've been holding the reins for the clan since March 2011. I do not know who the first clans in strategus were.

I've been playing cRPG since June 2010 (maybe earlier, but I don't remember) and I can remember The Guards, 22nd, Templars, Ninja, Shogunate fairly well, and DRZ extremely well (considering they raped everyone when Strat first came out, hard to forget  ).  Wasn't Fallen's original leader in the Templars?

Now, for NA, I remember Roses because Anders is still around to remind me with a friendly sword to the face every once in awhile.  BRD is pretty damn old now and Dracul is almost two years old (October 21st, 2010).

Nah, it was templars and mercs, chadz gave access to a really early version of Strat to Growl and I for that test siege.

edit: now I think of it that was probably wiped, so you might be right.

His name was Beauchamp, I remember him well. Always a coward, and always in plate (when people could afford it). He quickly turned to archery when plate wasn't OP anymore.

Oldest clan I remember that still has active members is the ninja clan.

Yes i would vote for ninja clan. But i'm suprised no one thinks Fallens are one of the oldest, but yea bit younger than Templars.

I have been around for about 1 year and half, but I heard from shanks that SoA is one of the old clans.

First there was Staffmen.  (recently been revived, but more of a playstyle than a clan.)

Then there were Ninjas, based on the basic principle of Staffmen, just more elaborated. (been active more or less the whole time)

Then Guards and I think Knights of the Roses about the same time. *Rosewoods clan.

Templars also came about this time.

Mercs came later when Gnjus, Olwen and Oberyn decided to start a clan together.

Still lots of oldmy old friends playing this game actively.. proof that it is extremely addictive.

I've been in Guards since around late August 2010, so I'd guess it was founded in July or somewhere around that. Gotta ask Bane about it, if he'd still be here. But Templols and Ninjas were kinda the first cRPG clans.

Hoplite_/RS were some of the first NA clans that i recall. obviously irc:// was the best and oldest warband/cRPG clan though
