I would love to see ingame mini achievements or quests. They need to be highly randomized and limited to X quests per hour per player, to prevent abuse. They could pop up after certain conditions are met / triggered.
Even cooler would be mini quests started by people.
All quests need to be achieved in 1 round. When completed, they give bonus multiplier(s).
Murder: nominate an enemy player with q x n. Next round, two players on your team gets a 'murder' mini quest to kill that player. If he does, he gets two bonus multipliers. One player on the enemy team also gets a murder quest for you. If the targeted player survives the round, the nominator loses a multiplier.
Flag carrier: nominate a friendly player with q x n. Next round, that player gets a 'flag carrier' mini quest and has to carry a flag the whole round for a bonus multiplier. Several enemy players get a murder quest for that flag carrier. A few friendly players get a flag defender mini quest. Only works with a minumum of 60 players on the server.
Flag defender: when a flag carrier quest is started, 1-5 people on that team recieve a flag defender quest. By making two kills near the flag carrier, they complete the quest. One bonus multiplier.
Peasant Protector: same as the flag defender quest, but for a team mate with level 20 or less and no flag. Two kills near the peasant completes it.
Untouchable: block 10+ attacks / projectiles and receive no damage during the round.
Just a Fleshwound: receive 95% damage during the round, but don't die. Fails if the last hit is friendly damage.
Vengeance: receive and complete a murder quest for the person that killed you last round.
Arrowproof: block 10 projectiles with your shield or survive 5 arrows
Autoblocker: block 10 swings in a row with a melee weapon
William Tell: make two headshots
Hail Mary: hit an extreme long distance shot
Horse Ha(l)ter: rear up two enemy horses with a polearm stab
Equinophobia: kill three horses
Shield Breaker: destroy two shields
Face Stabber: stab someone in the face
Skull Splitter: kill someone with an overhead to the face
Immortal: receive 10 or more hits without dying
Riposte: kill an enemy with a chamber-block attack
Desperate Looter: kill an enemy with a looted weapon you have no proficiency in
Let Me Show You: kill someone with his own weapon (only triggers when you loot someone's weapon you have hit)
Rage Quit: someone you killed disconnects the same round
Iron Feet: receive 95% of your hp in damage to your feet and survive
Lead Face: receive an projectile to the face and survive
Threaten: kill an enemy after yelling at them three times or more
Marathon: run for 98% of the time spent that round
Deadly Accurate: hit 100% of your swings (feints not counted, 10 swings minimum, fizzles when a swing fails to deal damage)
Can Opener: Kill an opponent with 60+ body armour
Peasant Hunter: Kill three opponents with 20 or less body armour
[classtype] Hunter: kill three [classtype]
Save the Day: Kill 3 enemies as the last player alive and win the round
Hero: Kill 5-10 enemies as the last player alive and win the round
Total Heroic Awesomeness: Kill 10+ enemies as the last player alive. Gives two multipliers.
Tag Team Heroes: Survive and win a round after facing 10+ opponents as the last two players alive. Must kill at least one of those opponents.
Delayer: as the last player alive, avoid combat for 60 seconds or more. Player loses a multiplier.
Master Riposte: chamber block 10 attacks during a round.
Charge with Conviction: kill three opponents but die in the first two minutes of the round.
Andy many, many more... i know some are silly, i'm just brainstorming here. There must be many cool little mini achievements you could add to cRPG.
And yes, i realize stuff like this is highly exploitable. So limits are needed, like a minimum amount of players on the server, a maximum amount of quests per hour and player, etc... and then there is the limitations of the warband engine and WSE... but wouldn't it be cool to get mini goals to focus on during a normal cRPG battle?
What achievements / mini quests would you add and how would you call those?
