I'm guessing as far as playing something like 2h infantry it wouldn't work too well though. Block direction would have to be by movement, that's already a huge difference compared to mouse blocking.

Ahh yeah I didn't think about that. I was using a shield so it wasn't too bad.

Who plays with a controller? I'd be interested to see how they mapped it.

Pretty easy considering this game does not use a bunch of buttons like most other computer games do. If you don't want to use the Mouse and Keyboard attachment for the ps3 and insist on using a controller, you still have more buttons then you know what to do with. The left stick is better then AWSD keys due to being analog instead of just 8 possible movement directions, but using the right stick instead of a mouse reminds me of using a rollerball mouse (hard to get used to at first, and feels a bit off).

Block direction can be mapped to the right stick with view, like normal. No need to tie it to movement.

I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

I know I tried it once, a couple of months back, and it sorta seemed easier to be a 1h on horseback at the time. I forgot what I had to download to make it work though

Xpadder.

I even tried to play with a joystick... ended up with two teamkills...  :(

Warband with a racing wheel :

Direction for mouse, brake and gaz for going forward/backward, and a few buttons for blocking/attacking, action, voice commands, jump...

Definetly seems doable.

I played m&b awhile back with an xbox controller before I got used to a mouse and keyboard, used xpadder;

left stick=wasd
right stick= mouse
right trigger=lmb
left trigger=rmb
a=space bar

etc.. It worked quite well, but it is no means a match for a decent mouse and keyboard.

I'm not sure what the news is. I thought this would be a trailer or some release date. I mean we all knew they are working on M&B2, it's no secret.

But if the new module system allows it, we'll port cRPG & strat over, that's for sure.

Reckon it would ever let me port over my gear? I dont want to have to go through masterworking my stones again.

Maybe taleworlds are looking to hire talented gamedesigners?
Maybe they want people from the crpg dev team to develop MB2 multiplayer eh?
