This is a great idea.

However it should represent cRPG: Variation. So it should in the pictures represent the warrior types online. I think it would be best if its a bit serious, like the sketch posted earlier, really like the style in that.

Maybe the picture set should be as following:

Main Menu: Calm. People Just Spawned.
Online Menu: Shieldwall. Preparing for Battle.
Loading: Battle.

They all need more arrows/bolts/javelins sticking out of them, especially in the buckler. Otherwise it's very accurate for cRPG.
