this patch is awful

This patch has just made it harder for new players like myself,if this was the latest patch when i 1st started playing i think i would of just thrown it in the bin.The new upkeep is a joke and im sure this patch will just scare new players off which will mean the begining of the death of this game.I really liked this game before the patch and now i think it sucks ass big time

dont worry,  when upkeepp was introduced it was too high aswell and needed finetuning.  im sure we will get a few fixes within the next week or so.

It seems range has gotten some awkward changes with low speed but very high damage. That will be fixed it seems.

A few things to say :

1° Yes it is unrealistic given it's superior to couched lances in every way except the damage which is more or less equal.
2° I said fun and balance are more important than realism. That doesn't mean realism is not important at all.
3° Actually, as HA is one of the hardest things to do in RL compared to foot archery, melee etc. It's sort of realistic that a level 30 HA is still inaccurate and a level 30 melee is decent. Having level 30 HA equivalent to born horsemen and archery masters isn't really realistic.
4° If something is both unbalanced and unrealistic... you get my point.

i played with 3 diff chars since patch got implemented, on one i used horse for like 4 rounds, havent paid single time i guess ur just terribly unlucky (even tho if ur archer, i guess the arrow repairs are crazy)

Well I have almost every 2 rounds repair cost. Im only wearing shit gear and im no archer.
I wanted to try cavalry, but this upkeep cost reduces the things I can try within this module.
Im a new player and I dont have alot of money. If I want to try something more expensive, I guess ill have to sell my loompoints, but I cant agree with this because this cant be the reason of getting loompoints.

try to make some money before u start wearing good gear, and as you lvl up and get better gear, you will find yourself more on the winning side hopefully and should make more money

this sucks, but with the implementation of market and people trading the shit out of everything, i guess there is no way for a loom respec now
