4. Lower missile speed for low tier bows (Long bow should have highest missile speed, but it stay just like it is atm, rest should have lower missile speed with rule: lower dmg ->  lower missile speed)

I really agree with this. The separation between a bows missile speed and its damage contribution has always bothered me. What results in a bow's contribution to final damage if not the missile speed?

It seems to me that a bow's missile speed and damage should be directly linked.

I agree.

I think there should be a SCENE MANAGER and a SCENE TEAM and that scene manager is the one ultimately responsible but the team assists him in those tasks, voting on maps, map rotations, helping make updates, etc.

Good idea, this sounds kewl!
Elindor you would be perfect for this, you obviously have a good understanding of what makes a fun siege map!
Also, your suggestions on my past map attempts were very helpful. You'd fill the role quite well I think ^_^

You still get accuracy, missile speed and drawing speed which is really important.

I assume the drawing speed would be represented by speed rating. If this is the case, drawing speed is not improved through looming a bow as speed rating is not improved. It can be a bit misleading on the "ranks" menu since it shows missile speed twice for no reason.

Wow, Northern Archipelago has probably the best
terrain work I've seen.

And some of those cities [Reyvadin, Suno] are
ridiculous. They really look like... cities!

Awesome work! ^^

maybe its that green color....its like 70's green :(

might be better off to go with the various textures rather than the color painting...those have built in variance for a more real look.
up to you!

Yea, you might be right, I'll mess around with it a little more.
Thanks! ^^

updated screenshots help....sort of a castle in the swamp being renovated? :)

Yea, it's sorta a new stronghold being constructed in a marsh, but it's fairly small
and made of wood because all the bigger stone castles sunk into the marsh.

aesthetically, i would paint some other ground textures here and there for variance, like maybe sand along the shore lines a bit here and there, some earth somewhere, maybe a path texture or village texture in places where people would walk....etc.

maybe a bush or two? some rocks?

Yea I do have other textures in the ocean, under the half-built
structures in the settlement and along the... rivers? But I colored
the ground to change the shade of green. So, even though it's
re-textured I think everything ends up just looking green. ^^

I could try to add more color to it.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also I did add in foliage and rocks, do you think I should have more?
I guess it doesn't show up in most of the screenshots because I
didn't put any in the settlement itself, which is where I took most
screenshots. But look at this one! ^^

(click to show/hide)
That's pretty much what I have all around outside the settlement
as far as foliage, also there are rocks out there too. (Just not in this
picture).

hmmm, I suppose I could add in more! Do you think I should?

Alright so, I've added in foliage and terrain variety and
I've updated the screenshots so they are now taken
during daytime within the editor!

I've also included the map files so you guys can get a
closer look yourselves if you happen to want to.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are some graphical errors with shadows and water while in the editor,
so it makes the map look a little derpy sometimes.

Also, you can't see the flag while in the editor.

I guess it turns out that this isn't entirely true. I didn't realize that when you
pressed "H" in the editor it corrects the graphical errors with water.

So, the only downside of editor screenshots is the invisible flag/flagpole.

Okay, thanks for the suggestion. I'll fix up the terrain a bit
today and try to resubmit some new daytime screenshots.
(I'm sorry I haven't done this yet but all I can seem to get is
night-time and VERY rarely a sunset, which isn't ideal because
of all the shadows. If I can't get it to daytime today I'll just
take screenshots from the editor and upload those.)

I will also include a link to the map files.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
good that you've added extra detail in your post here, about spawns and walk times..but the dark screenshots kinda pointless

Yea, I'm sorry about this, I guess my screen brightness was kinda
high and/or my room was kinda dark cause they didn't seem too bad
to me at the time. If I'd have realized how dark they were I would
have taken them in the editor. Sorry again, I'll get right on this!

THANKS AGAIN! ^^

What's wrong about taking screenshots in the editor (just curious)?

There are some graphical errors with shadows and water while in the editor,
so it makes the map look a little derpy sometimes.

Also, you can't see the flag while in the editor.

I hope you find someone to work with! ^^

And nice models on deviantart too!

Uh, making screenshots by night is not a very good way to showcase your map.

Yea, I mentioned this.

"I apologize for the screenshots being taken at night, I wanted to take them
in-game[not in the editor] and night-time was all I could get at the time."

I couldn't get anything other than night when I was putting this together,
I tried for quite a while.

If there is some way to set the weather on hosted games that would be a
great thing to know how to do, but I haven't found a way.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I thought that things appeared visible enough in these screenshots, but
if I'm incorrect I could re-upload new ones... x'(
