Could you add the result of this feature in the Profile/show posts ?
This way, we can see wich post of that person earned him respect/or not. Of course, just the result. We would have to follow the link to the topic/message to then be able to click and know who +1/-1 that person for that topic.
If this "respect" ever comes in importance (wich i doubt), it would be nice also to "report to moderator" if ones feel totally wronged and abused by other people. You shouldn't use it for no reason though, cause if the moderator finds you abused this option, then he'll just -1 you, or mute you. We don't want to cause unnecessary extrawork for the moderators. But i doubt it'll ever come in such importance anyway, even if we can track it, compared to awesomeness.
