When I first started playing I thought I could use great lances to stab like in native so I ran around with an unusable weapon

Well fact is, NA players are mostly casual normies not knowing mechanics & who would have no chance against competitive EU players on the same ping.

More seriously: We can't edit the tags for the items in the shop. They are added automatically when the mod is compiled. An option would be to edit the website code for each item but it probably have to be done every patch because the compiler could erase all the modifications. The other solution can be to edit the compiler itself but we can forget this option because the actual team can't edit him, only chadz or cmp can do this and I doubt that they want to wast their time for this.

tl;dr: Impossible to do.

Maybe make a forum sticky post with all the items and their properties that way if someone is in doubt they can check the codex 1st before buying from AH.

Realtalk I appreciate dev team posting things like this. Even if the answer to a question is "nope, can't" it is interesting to get insight into the actual process.

Someone (Yuang I think?) posted a chat log from dupre that alluded to shit being done with python. Is everything coded in python or just the compiler?

Is everything coded in python or just the compiler?

You've played this game for how many years and you didn't know it was made in python?
Everything is in python. You can download the warband source code from the taleworlds forum, that's actually how I learned how to make maps.
Maybe you are not bad, but you are a boring person. Well, that's the end of the matter.

Who has time to look into the game code? Gotta grind more xp. Max gen bonus. More looms. More. MORE.

So what, you can't even rename items? Like "Great Long Bardiche(2d)" "English Bill(1d)" etc.?
