One of the first games I remember playing was Moria. All the graphics were keyboard symbols and you fought a lot of k's. Those were kolbolds.

You could get water from a well, combine it with flour, put the dough in an oven or over a fire and boom. Bread. Probably the first real sandbox style game I ever played.

Marshmallow Duel! A game two people could play on the same keyboard. You one-shot the other player then your marshmallow man does a funky victory dance.
