Sry if you already explained this, but i didnt find it. Since all attack angles are possible, how does stabbing work? Do stabs have angles? If so how do you block it?

Last I checked it was stabs from the low angles, like before.

We might do something completely different with stabs if we can come up with a better way to utilize them, there's some ideas floating around but nothing we've had time to try out yet  :wink:

It may have been answered before, but is there any plans on including havok physics? I distinctly remember the difference it made between early beta WB and later versions.

Cmp mentioned PhysX which is superior library to Havok. It's not physics fault that animations are unfinished (that running animation is a real eyesore, hopefully potential backers do understand what placeholder means).

I have a question about the "tavern map".

Would it be possible to make this a general hub? So like an over world where you can meet people and talk and possibly do dueling etc without actually going into a server? Sort of like the way GTA IV and V worked you started straight off in the main game but then you would select to go into MP and to the relevant servers.

This could be cool as I'm concerned a tavern server could just end up being a point where people hang out and could potentially hinder player counts within the battles themselves.

I hope I explained this well.

I've got 2 serious questions for your Historical Researcher Zimke the Cranky (or is it Grumpy ?) but I don't think they're of critical importance for your project. Where should I write them in order to have the best chance to get an answer ?  8-)

Gonna ask again cuz I think its a real good question that no one addressed. Have you guys looked at gamepad support? More and more PC games are being designed controller friendly, especially third person action games. Trust me it'd go a long way in getting more people to play, 8-directional combat and advanced footwork and whatnot would make much more sense to some people using joysticks and bumper buttons and whatnot then mouse + keyboard.

Would be a lot easier and smarter to just have twitch.tv integration. So all the good players can stream themselves stomping endless bads like they can do in cRPG with ease and get people interested in the game by watching archived high kill rounds and crap. Stream duels and stuff like people do with Hearthstone or just big fun battles.

For stronghold mode, is the world persistent, is there a building grace period and then no more building, or are you always free to build? If the foremost and last case, how would you prevent people from randomly building walls in the middle of a fight?
