Yeah, either that or just try to reach the finish line with less money, maybe try to kickstart again with a more modest goal and scaled-back plan. I don't want to believe they'd just pull the plug.

Let's not lose faith though, there's still weeks left on this thing and anything could happen.

I'm serious in offering services to freelance write some promotional fluff too. I've edited 300 pages of text and published a website + social media pages for a local author's book recently and know what I'm doing. Can always send PM

Also 16700/3 is 5566 per day, they need 130000/30 or 4333 dollars per day. As long income is steady, it's fine.

Most of that will be cRPG players double-dipping, where the quality of cRPG was a known entity in determining the value of donating. Without some viral bumps or corrupt Saudi Arabian oil money/UIF mafia funding it'll taper off fast.

They really need to get the word out to all the major videogame websites... sure some may be nothing but sell-outs, but ign or gamespot would be good places to have several people spam them with emails, or tweets, or however they get their stories saying "Omg look at this sweet new game I found on KS, you guys totally need to make an article showing this shit off to the general public!" I am quite sure that if they receive a good number of emails about peoples' interest in this KS campaign they will make an article about it, and most of their articles get thousands of hits. Donkey crew doesn't need to only look to indie gaming websites (let's face it, indie gaming is growing, for sure, but is still very small compared to mainstream gaming, which is covered on these sites) but also to the more mainstream videogaming sites as well. Send em an email or two... if they make an article about it, awesome... if not, nothing was lost but the couple of minutes you spent typing.

Are you planning on adding a gamemode similar to Rageball in the distant future, or would that be up to the modding community? I think there is genuine potential there and no other game scratches that particular itch.

When do we get the random/funny/boring screens? Releasing them before the Kickstarter's over might help to get some attention.

Rageball is a must have. It could get you some attention from potential backers. But, I guess it is a bit too late to code in time before KS campaign ends.

2 Questions:

1.) Is the Melee: Battlegrounds- Engine more demanding on GPU than CPU?
Mount&Blade:Warband engine is for example CPU and RAM-intensive. It has never stressed my graphics-card(nvidia GTX680) to its full potencial and was running on idle GPU-Core Clock.

2.) Can we expect the netcode to work with a server-tickrate of 128?

In Stronghold mode:

Will we be able to play with more than 2 starting teams?

Can a team build to exploit a resource point without destroying enemy structures already exploiting the same point? (more strategic possibilities than simple capture the point)

Is the mode going to feature bots or just players?

Before chadz gives you an official answer I'll link this post so you can get general picture what kind of answer you'll get:

Tried with 250. Cpu running fine, my gpu reaches its limits here (AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series). the CPU can probably take a lot more agents. When all Models have lods the GPU shouldn't be a problem either. Also it's unlikely that they will be all collected in one area like here.

According to this, certainly more GPU than CPU bound.

I think if you are to get publicity from people.. that you should build up a small playable version for youtubers to ACTUALLY play and talk about.  Would that be possible?  Otherwise no youtuber is really going to be interested in talking about it.  It would just be a full mock up advertisement.
