Not the point. Game mechanics apply a penalty to movement speed based on the weapon length stat. Which is 105 max for 1h regardless of the reach of the animations. Which is also why 2h has a slight inherent advantage to movement speed compared to polearm, because its animations give it higher actual reach relative to its weapon length stat.

Well for me it's not really about the equipment.

Neither is for me. But I always considered "a str whore" as a pejorative term describing someone going for easy kills with min-maximized build. This hardly applies to 1h no shield in my opinion. Though in the terms of pure numbers, yeah, 24-15 looks like like str whore.

irl something shorted on the shuttle and laika overheated and died within a few hours of liftoff and for a brief while one could look up to the stars and see a light shooting across the sky that was actually a warm dog corpse slingshoting about the earth at thousands of miles per hour which was arguably humanity's greatest achievement so far

Your binary primitive low capacity of thinking is not relevant.

I'm not sure that's entirely correct. Aren't weapon length speed penalties dependent on weapon class?

Im pretty sure Uthred of Bebbanburg used heavy cav+ morning star before anyone did(in fact he was probably one of the first guys in this mod to have plate) . Even before Bane, And sorry goretooth but i was using Black Armor+ Great helmet months before there were any  NA  server, though i was the only one using that combo on Eu too.  (so not a trend at all)

Are we talking about people who did something first or people who spawned the most copycats since I'm a little bit confused.

Both, how do you start a trend without being one of the first to use or do something anyway. Its mentioned above more than once that black armor+great helmet was never  a trend (so kinda offtopic).

Testicleez is not the first guy to wear peasant armor and use a wooden stick, but he was well-known enough in the NA community to inspire tribute/copycat characters.

First guy who wear peasant clothes and a stick was first peasant in game. Dont know who it was but probably not Testicles as at that time that Testicles probably didnt even know about MB at all. Talking about trends...  using peasant gear as basis you can say thanks to the first leecher probably....Maybe Herkutatti_The_leecher? :p

The fact that in Eu the game was played for like a whole year without Na servers to play on, could be enough for you all to realize that everything was done before it was done on Na side.Sorry to dissapoint you. Could have been the other way around, (if mod started with Na servers obviously, its nothing special), but it wasnt like that. Another fact to consider its first na players started playing at Eu servers, where they could catch some influences on what to use or not,but definitely they didnt start from nothing.

About specific "who started this trend on NA", probably kesh post its the most correct of all.

24/15 is not a balanced build

Cant think of a better swashbuckle build tbh so i guess its a balanced build

I should be a trendsetter with having music be played in Strategus battles a la THE REALM OF THE GOBBLIN KING but this community must not have any taste or something.
