Morningstar cav was Lady_Gaga - Fall 2010.  Back then morningstar had crushthrough on the side swing from horseback

Bar Mace Gothic Plate with Bevor - Linden and Wallace (bar mace used to have crushthrough) - Fall 2010
Knife Chamberer - Greziz (Linden's alt) - Fall 2010

Archers that could actually melee - Robin_Longstride and Chimp - Fall 2010

Plate Helmeted Light body armored Archer - Birdman - Fall 2010

High Agility 2her (30+) - Gash or Kalam - Fall 2010

High Agility Archer (1 powerdraw, 30+ agility) - Kesh - Fall 2010

High Agility Spamitar - Balbaroth - Fall 2010

Dedicated Stone thrower - starts with a P, forget his name off top of my head - Fall 2010

Most of the "trendsetters" you see now are people who emulated someone else who originally emulated someone else.  Its a pretty old mod at this point and most of the originals are gone and even many of the second wave emulators are gone as well.  God I miss the old group and classic crpg - most fun and height of the mod with 120 man server and 80 man servers  packed  at same time for hours on end.

Disenfranchised_Palestinian? Also all of all of your list is people from BRD. You biased bastard! :]

irl something shorted on the shuttle and laika overheated and died within a few hours of liftoff and for a brief while one could look up to the stars and see a light shooting across the sky that was actually a warm dog corpse slingshoting about the earth at thousands of miles per hour which was arguably humanity's greatest achievement so far

Who started the "archer with a straw hat" thing? I know that King Itchy still uses it in NA, and saw Tennenoth long ago on EU (don't play there much anymore).

I almost never see rus war mask (previously vaegir war mask) on NA servers anymore. When I started playing they were everywhere!

That's definitely Tennenoth. Here we call it the Tenne Hat.

Also on your side of the pond, whoever was wearing full black armor, great helmet with hat and a bec (I believe his name was Gorath Goretooth). That guy defined the bec and the black armor.

HUSSAR THE HORSE EATER

Used morningstar on hb for years. On siege aswell, much fun

I loot corpses of their golden teeth.
But he'll be around somewhere between Heaven and The Devil, because neither of them will take him in, and he'll be farting loudly and singing a filthy song.

i'll be there at around

Who was the guy again wearing plate and no helmet? We thought he was a noob when we saw him IG, but I believe he still uses it. Forgot his name but remember he had a male character with half-long blonde hair.

Chase probably made the Vaegir War Mask + Sarranid Guard Armour combination popular, something which I just cannot comprehend. It looks terrible and yet I see it popping up so many times.

I am very curious as to who was the first to use the 'new' pike back in the day to any effectiveness. I believe it was added in like spring 2011 and it must've been quite daunting to play around with it. I don't recall seeing it much at all to be honest, but I wasn't really interested in support polearms until like another year.

Goretooth was no trendsetter, he was just unique and easily recognised, same as ctp. Georges a tincan with a flamburger, but nobody was really rocking his setup, or atleast not to that extent that you can call it a trend. Most of the people here play so long I recognise 50% of the battlefield by their equipement, same as they recognise me from miles away.

Trends here across the pond mostly have to do with stats. Kuyak heroes are kuyak heroes because that armor looks good, everybody thinks it Viking shit, but most of all it has great stats, same with the LS or Danish/German. I remember the first clan to rock Kuyak heavy were 22nd and they had a bunch of 2h heroes, sure some people emulated them, but Kuyak was a new good looking armor with great stats, that is mostly what it made it what it is, not people. Same with other weapons/armors.
And now he can't play because of "common sense" and he doesn't understand how this common sense works

Morningstar on horseback has been used since the beta days.

Kuyak became really popular when GoT was first released on HBO, as it slightly resembled armors with fur-trimmed capes worn by house Stark.
