Panos, I expect you will want ditch that 750Ti in less than a year.
how come?
Because it's not that great (it's a low end gaming GPU).
It's one of the cards that can do 1080p, but not by very much.
As games get more demanding, you'll start to notice it will struggle.
Then again, if you don't plan on playing those games, no need to worry.
(I'm sure it'll be enough for MB II and M:BG)
i'm gonna buy this what do u think guys http://www.monsternotebook.com.tr/urun_detay.aspx?urn=463569&kat=6453&lang=tr-TR#.U-a0Wfl_ui9
u can press " ürün özellikleri" bottom of the page for specs..
It's got some nice specs, price isn't bad too.
880m is a nice card, CPU is solid, plenty of ram, HDD is a bit meh.
Pretty nice, not sure what the temps would be like in that case.
You'd get a better desktop for that money, but if you really want a laptop, that is a beast of a laptop.
880m is a tad slower than a GTX 760 for reference.
If you plan to do a tonne of gaming on it, I'd advise getting a desktop.
Gaming laptops run hot and die young (I have one :S), you'd need to clean out the heatsinks pretty regularly (every month or so) and check the thermal paste every 6 months or so (or whenever the temps seem to be really high).
Also get a laptop cooling stand, should lower the temps a bit, not too expensive. (And you won't have to place a burning laptop on your lap
)
Pretty sure that laptop is a clevo, so you should be able to take it apart relatively easily for cleaning. (Also to upgrade it later on if you feel like it, SSD etc).
Had my laptop for 3 years now, GPU died once just under a year after getting it, thermal paste had dried and cracked. Luckily the warranty covered it and they replaced it. I've replaced the GPU since then with a beefier one myself (no easy feat
) and the RAM, HDD and CPU soon
.
But I definitely prefer my desktop!
EDIT:
Just remembered, if anyone is buying a PC and can afford to wait till late september/early october, GTX 800 series should come out then.
Not saying they'll be much quicker (based on a 680 iirc), but they should cause GPU prices to drop nicely
.
