The only thing I would look at on a mobo these days is SLI/CF compatibility

I heard EVGA 7XX cards are good too, although not at a very competitive pricepoint.

See, I play sims and got external hdd connected.
6x USB 3.0 and 2 x front 3.0 is exactly what I need, cba with hubs like I have it now.
Plus the extreme 4 can do both.
E-Sata etc.

115 Euros for that sounds got to me. Comes down to your needs so research is required.

I have a Gaiward 770 and the temps are super cool, absolutely no problems, dunno if it's the case and the good airflow or the card itself but this is my 3rd Gaiward nVidia in a row and I've had absolutely no problems with them, they all ran perfect.
And now he can't play because of "common sense" and he doesn't understand how this common sense works

Twin frozr are nice, but ASUS and EVGA have much better warranties and tend to run just as cool (if not cooler for ASUS).

Honestly, the ASUS DCU II 780 is hands down the best card I've seen. I've got a stock 780 (MSI), when my friend asked me to spec his build, I got him a DCU II 780.

Mine runs about 77C with modified fan profile, 980MHz boost, stock memory.
His ran at 77C with modified fan profile, 1250MHz boost, 7000MHz memory, no issues at all.

Thing is a monster, starts with a pretty meh factory OC, but they all seem to be able to OC like beasts. (Read about 5 reviews with similar results, insane OC ability)
It's also cheaper than the EVGA alternatives and not much more than the MSI ones.

If I could pick all over again, I'd get an ASUS card or EVGA if I'm going SLI.
If I was going to WC, then probably ASUS. (unless I decided I was too lazy to put the block on and buy a EVGA classified hydro :P)

ASUS is most solid brand I've come across so far.

how come?

Because it's not that great (it's a low end gaming GPU).
It's one of the cards that can do 1080p, but not by very much.
As games get more demanding, you'll start to notice it will struggle.

Then again, if you don't plan on playing those games, no need to worry.
(I'm sure it'll be enough for MB II and M:BG)

It's got some nice specs, price isn't bad too.
880m is a nice card, CPU is solid, plenty of ram, HDD is a bit meh.
Pretty nice, not sure what the temps would be like in that case.

You'd get a better desktop for that money, but if you really want a laptop, that is a beast of a laptop.
880m is a tad slower than a GTX 760 for reference.

If you plan to do a tonne of gaming on it, I'd advise getting a desktop.

Gaming laptops run hot and die young (I have one :S), you'd need to clean out the heatsinks pretty regularly (every month or so) and check the thermal paste every 6 months or so (or whenever the temps seem to be really high).
Also get a laptop cooling stand, should lower the temps a bit, not too expensive. (And you won't have to place a burning laptop on your lap )

Pretty sure that laptop is a clevo, so you should be able to take it apart relatively easily for cleaning. (Also to upgrade it later on if you feel like it, SSD etc).

Had my laptop for 3 years now, GPU died once just under a year after getting it, thermal paste had dried and cracked. Luckily the warranty covered it and they replaced it. I've replaced the GPU since then with a beefier one myself (no easy feat :|) and the RAM, HDD and CPU soon :P.

But I definitely prefer my desktop!

EDIT:
Just remembered, if anyone is buying a PC and can afford to wait till late september/early october, GTX 800 series should come out then.
Not saying they'll be much quicker (based on a 680 iirc), but they should cause GPU prices to drop nicely :D.
