Dont let it give you false hope, its just a few unprotected villages which were quite abandonned when most active druzhinas went north with armies to rampage everything on their path. Now they are slowly crawling back to where they come, and soon they will recapture whatever they really want to keep (most logically, everything that is in the desert area, and maybe more) and then they will sleep for some time, like bears knows how to sleep very well..
