I chose these stats, because its something between the Heavy Aketon (30 BA & 10 LA) and Mail Fur (36 BA & 3 LA), as you can see its in total balance, +3 BD and -4 LA from Aketon BUT -3 BA and +4 LA from Mail Fur.

40 BA will set this armour to be better than the Aketon Brigandines, don`t forget that Padded Leather > Aketon, on the other hand the armour will be heavier than the brigandines with a lot less leg armour.

We don't delete, we only replace. Also, I'm fairly certain none of those are fantasy, they just likely weren't used in actual battle (Actually, iirc there are a few documents I've seen where cavalry were using horned helmets).
