only arba can do that, the huscarl shield can get shot through with +3 arba and +3 steel bolts + speed bonus from forward movement + very close range
shield skill doesnt change anything as far as I know

xbow needs buff and certainly no equivalent to PD...  :mrgreen:

BUT....

shooting through shields on certain occasions has been a feature of ARBS for years now... sooooooo??? What's new and whineworthy about it NAO???

First, that is not QQ, but common sense suggestion to reduce ranged population.

Piercing shield is kind of dumb when there is the option to aim for the feet or around a gap. I don't really see any gameplay benefits to having it in.

It is an unnecessary mechanic that makes shielders a less effective counter to crossbows than they should be. Having a shield should mean safety from being shot from the front period.
