One thing i prefer about EU to NA is i notice NA uses the knockdown-hit on floor-kick-hit again, tactic way more than EU, for 2 free hits and chain stagger - potentially knocking down a second time for unlimited swings. It's just a cheap tactic, quite literally kicking someone when they're down xD
I personally always do a chain kick when I knock someone down and there's nobody else about to kill me. Against tincans, that can lead to hilarous moments when the free hit after the kick leads to another knockdown so I do another cycle. I had this happen three times in a row once against Butan (and before arguing that knockdown is OP because this kind of long free hit combos are possible, think about the outrageous number of hits that are required to kill those guys in the first place). But I rarely see people doing that except myself, that's true. Mostly because they are never given the chance. If you use a 2h or polearm knockdown weapon, you will almost never need more than one held hit to finish whoever you knocked down, so it leaves us only with 1h, and since I will personally never survive two hits from most melee weapons, I never had this pulled off against me.
Only true pro with longspear is Craftybadger, others are either abusers of broken mechanics (Teeth and the likes) or a little bit worse.
