I honestly don't care xant, you only post shit everywhere, anyway.
So, you realize you fucked up, then try to cover up by saying you "honestly don't care" - despite the fact that you obviously do care, otherwise you wouldn't have posted in the first place.

I'm sorry there's not enough stereotypical white male power in this game for some of you guys.

Holy fuck butthurt over "le furriez"

I think the animal/human characters partly hide the fact that this is quite a little bit violent and gore.

IMO if it were humans instead of animals I'd be even less likely to buy it and play it, it would just remind me of weeaboos flying around with over sized swords and there's already enough of those shitty jap games. Not that I'm going to buy this anyway because it's not even a game, just a tech demo, I checked up on it every now and then for a long time only to find that it's still not a "game", I lost interest a while ago because I have doubts it will ever be a real game, or someone else will release a furry fighting game that makes everyone forget about this "tech project".

That's why it's done for cartoons, yes.

It's a choice, you might not agree with it, but they went with it regardless of your opinion. I think it has some practical advantages which might have been considered. The humanoid animals will make shortcomings in anatomy and animations much less obvious than when using humans. Also I guess it has to do with the extreme running speeds and jumping heights which we more easily accept with rabbits, whereas if it was done with humans it would immediately look like some weird kung fu game. Which it still is, but now people describe it as a fighting game with animals. I think it allows for some cool variations in characters like they are doing with the different animal types. Different enemies which make for more varied gameplay.

I tried getting a fighting kanagroo HL1 mod going back in like 2003. They obviously overheard my IRC conversations and stole my idea!

They kinda are. Anthropomorphic rats, rabbits, cats, foxes and dogs? Not so much.

After reading this thread I can only write two lines:

1. Granpappy: how old is your daughter and is she a gamer ?

2. Xant: you're seriously brain-damaged, beyond repair.
Do you honestly think you have any sort of moral authority, Reyiz? Go genocide some more armenians and deny it ever happened, please, and stay in the middle east.

I know it must seem that way, when what I write is so much beyond what you can understand.

Oh yeah, brilliant. "Let's rerail the thread- after I derail it further."

Also, that comic is hilarious - tries to put the blame on the guy who calls the other dude out for drawing cats with boobs. Why the fuck would you draw cats with boobs?
