No, because arrows still way like 20kg for two quivers. Kiting still impossible.

First thing I tried after the patch was 6/36 archer with nomad bow and you can infact kite with it, though the damage is pitiful. Devs still havent figured out that the quiver weight nerf is still mostly putting the people in a disadvantage who dont have enough points to get enough ath i.e. hybrids, which however are willing and meant to fight in melee and could desperately use the footwork.

I had little hopes left that maybe with this patch this gets adressed.

IMO the rational decision would be to prevent kiting by nerfing mobility when performing ranged related stuff instead of a global slow down. It is like dropping a JDAM on a crowded housing complex because you know that somewhere in there a terrorist is hiding. Just plain poor game design.

and if i go for pure archer build instead of my old hybrid build
i will be able to kite more with my 9ath

i cant believe devs play that mod to think agi had to be buffed

just look at the tons of agi shielder we had before patch ...
imo put shield requierment to str and not agi to stop this tons of gay shield builds... but that's an other subject...

I'm just sad that I will get out-spammed even more so as a STR guy...

I would love to see a polearm buff though, all polearms really have going for them are range stabs.
Are you serious? Polearms have got just everything you need. Damage, range and speed. I am going to be a polearm fighter after I get bored with my shielder.

you get wpf in other melee areas when you put some in one.

you can play around with the figures but it makes hybrid pretty good at higher wpm levels

kind of feel like all were gonna see are agi longswords and lawl pikes with like 190-200 wpf..... as if they werent bad enough before the patch

Hmmm, for me debatable. I'd usually consider 5PD minimum for archer (Horn bow), and 6PD standard.
Horse archer, different story.

Although this build looks tempting given I usually use Bow:

Currently strat army standard is horn bow (PD5) and Rus/Long Bows (PD6) so both yours and my build above wouldn't currently be viable for Strat.

Edit to add: Also more agi builds = less ability to kite, because more people will be able to keep up.

lol 32 pierce with the 2h anims, I gotta get me an MW estoc...
1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.

2h was not buffed.

Polearm was buffed.  Pole users can use 2h swords now.

ALL STATS FOR THE 2h WEAPONS LISTED ARE THE POLEARM MODE STATS UUUARAGRHAGGRGGHHHHHH
