EDIT-Of the armor. Not the orgasms. Please god not the orgasms.

Had a good laugh at that. The armors are invisible in game right now and on the website. No screens yet....of the armor....

there is like 80% of agiwhore and 20% of str build but lets buff agi...

and about buff accuracy of long and rus doesnt fix the real problem
long and rus who are suposed to be 2 long range bows have less range than horn,tatar, nomad ...

now we will have more range and ppl will cry more ... when is the next range nerf ?

this is what i think of this patch who just unbalance crpg imo

Now,
will there ever be a balancing in Strategus which adresses big factions/clans, to decrease their economical power in relation to smaller factions/clans.
They still have more players to do more shit anyhow.
Or through another way, those holding more and more fiefs would gain unrest and uprisings they need also to fight down additionally to their empire building.

would be pretty dumb if a tiny faction could take on a large faction -_-

might be cool if it was based on how much territory you controlled instead of how many players though

I like the idea of unrest, infrastructure, etc as a means to balance runaway train empire building - you gotta expand smart.  Maybe holdings farthest from your capitol suffer more unrest %?

 Maybe that is a skill that the leader of the faction can invest in, from a set of skills.  One skill would be empire building, one would be trading, one could be something effecting troop recruitment etc.

2h buff? What?  Just give the longswords lightsaber textures and be done with it.  Aside from that I am really happy with this patch!
Can't wait to try the Estoc!

Edit: Down voters, come on, when my eyes can't pick up\track the movement on a high damage high lolstab weapon, something is wrong.

no it wouldnt. From the way the game was cosntructed from start it always amassed to the thinking , bigger is better ^^. I dont like that. I dont want to become a fucking huge faction so i can keep up with the economy race and even if 100 players wouldnt be afk but actually all playing crpg and strategus, it is a nightmare for all other clans then to keep up.

Find a sweetspot of perhaps 40 to 70 people max as limit towards the balancing is directed. Everything above will be lowered in effectivness and efficency.

Same when i see a few clans ruling the servers, other players either join those or get discurraged and stop playing as it is sometimes quite unsettling with this crappy banner ballance without an actual balance or do you want to tell me that you never saw the hate on the servers when one clan is winning round after round after round. That i call bullshit. Instead of having a system which works for smaller clans best , so people can befriend each other and get a team going to their liking and then eventually also evolving into a medium or bigger sized clan, i see Byz/Merc on eu1 and GO/HRE on eu2. Also dont get me wrong i dont dislike big clans perse, Wolves in strat 3.0 have had 120 members , that mostly for the reasons to keep up with the economy in Strategus. Later i knew i made a mistake to become that big as lots of the personal touch was lost from the beginnings.

Again i didnt say they would be equal , the smaller and the larger factions/clans.
Larger clans/factiosn still have the potential to have more active people(how unlikely that sometimes but seems to be)

When you want balancing for higher level players i also would argue for narrowing down curves to the end of progressions, so the high level player with sometimes extrem builds wouldnt get ahead too much. The same pretty much counts for economy in Strategus.

I like your ideas, but the truth is if you balanced it around smaller clans, clans would just band together into "coalitions" and we'd have the same situation.

this patch mean the come back of kiting range ...
why range should not get extra point in melee too ?

i rly recomand to give the extra point in melee to range if you dont wana see the kiting range style come back

in olds times of crpg ppl had like 200/250 wpf then got nerf and now you come back to this

same as archery it was op you nerfed them then you buffed them again

crpg is nerf nerf nerf then came back to the base to nerf again ...

it all depends how far you would go to balance it. Others and myself made quite a few sugestions already in that area. It is possible with carrot&stick method to balance this issue. At least to make it a lot better then it is now. Also you could see it like the war between virus programmers and anti-virus software programmers. A neverending battle, but only because we know some morons keep on programming viruses we dont stop trying to protect us against them or do we now.

I'm just sad that I will get out-spammed even more so as a STR guy...

I would love to see a polearm buff though, all polearms really have going for them are range stabs.
