Honestly i don't really care about aesthetics of a car, the things that mattered(and still matter to me) when i bought the car were: price (of course), consumption, and safety(crash test results and stuff like that), as much as you may be cautious when you drive, there's not much you can do if someone crashes into your car.
When I bought the Meriva (me and my brother), there was an offer on some Opel cars, discounted prices(plus an extra discount cuz we gave in our old Renault Clio to scrap) and they had all (i think) a normal fuel engine but with GPL/LPG implants installed.  Meriva and Corsa were sold at the same price(not the latest model, i think it was the Meriva model that was produced till the end of 2010, Meriva A or something like that), i wanted the  Corsa, because had better score on crash tests(and it also looks better imo), but my brother wanted to buy the meriva cuz in his opinion was more useful: bigger  insides, you could put in more stuff etc...
At the end my brother won the argue and we bought the Meriva, (i only chose the color:white, but if i could go back i'd chose black, if the car is dirty you don't notice much like on white) cuz afterall he was the one who had most money  :)
Meriva is not bad but i still prefer Opel Corsa.

We also have another car, a crappy '97 fiat Punto, i generally use it only when i have to go not far from the city, i call it  " coffin with wheels - walking coffin", nowdays Punto models are much better and safer, but the one we have it's really crappy, plus it's a car for midgets, i can't sit properly, my head touches the top .   My brother once went to Norway with that crap

Ah i "confirm" the Bmw stereotype, old Bmw models here are  often called as "gipsy's car" Yob car and stuff like that

Hate when I see dumb bitches slow down and almost come to a complete stop when merging on to the highway. I mean wtf?

I hate even more when dumb fucks enter the highway without even looking/paying attention if there are other cars coming, it happened to me once,  i quickly steered to the left, or it would have been a hell of a crash, luckily for me  there weren't cars on the other lane.
i forgot to add that generally i drive on the left lane when i'm on the highway( where i live most of the times there are  only 2 lanes, not much space in these valleys sorrounded by mountains :|), but that time i was close to the exit, so that's why i was driving on the right lane.

Oh yea, of course also Mercedes , probably more Mercs than Bmw

Audi is the alpine skiing guy's car. They just attack the North in masses when the holidays begin. Ski box on the roof and... Oh cock, Clarkson is right...

There is two groups on the road that I loathe. Caravanners and ski box cars. The first group always crawls 70 km/h in front of you in dry summertime roads. The second group typically makes stupid over takings all the time and completely ignores the bad driving conditions during winter .

I loathe Hollander caravaneers during summertime in France. They act like they colonize the place with their minivans, yellow plates and stuff.

About BMW: They've put a lot of effort to eradicate the stereotype of only mafia guys riding it. Still, driving black BMW gives you 99% guarantee of police pulling you over for a "routine check" here in P.  :D

I don't get the idea in caravanning... It's expensive, you sleep in a cardboard box near some road and shit into a bucket. When you take off you have to drive slowly so your box wont fall over. You greet every fellow cardboard box driver when you meet them on the road.

+ it would be cheaper to stay in a hotel or rent a cabin.

I sometimes have to drive caravan motorhomes to move them somewhere. I feel ashamed if someone gets stuck behind me and feel sorry for the poor guy so I slow down or stop and let him pass (which is not what a real caravanner would do). Real caravanner would just drive and drive and do the cock greeting every time they see another caravanner blocking 100 cars behind them

Audi = new cock, BMW = buyable again!

this,  but  only counts for new cars
Yes, I know from whence I came! Discontented as a flame, Upon myself I live and glow. All I grasp like lightning flashes, All I leave behind is ashes
Flame I am - that much I know!

my current car:
(click to show/hide)

About BMW's i remember in the mid 90's as a kid riding on the backseat of our parents 4D bmw 3 series on a motorway, suddenly a small circular hole appears on the floor between my legs,  i totally shit myself staring at the asphalt while the car is going around 80mph, the rusty floor literally dropped to the freeway bit by bit, never fancied those cars since.
