I loved the Shashka for its looks. And it seems to be pretty much what you mean. Had something around 32c swinging and low 20's on the stab, iirc.

The 4d long voulge was pretty much only used by Bars, but the economy in strat at that time favoured peasant armies and the Long Voulge was really, really good in those battles considering its price, so they nerfed it.

Now we have the strategus armies crutching loomed high-tier gauntlets, plate and other high-tier armours, with the best weapons available crafted. The Long Voulge would never be used (except by Bars probably..) in this version of strat. Make Long Voulge what it was or what Teeth suggested. As of now it's one of the, if not the worst weapon in the game.

Some sort of sarissa spear, like with 500 reach would be nice, just make it have like 40 speed so not to OP, pike just doesnt cut it for me.

a banner slot can cost from 150k to 250k, so themed shields are a must to people who arent in a big clan and wanna play solo a theme..

I'd like to see 3 new weapons (or weapons types). Flails are missing (dont know if game can handle it), repeating xbows (it is possible, i did it myself using "tweek m&b" tool), and those katars and similar things used in asia (basically dual wield in a way with those special weapon types, but i doubt engine can handle it and it would be a real SPAMOSAURUS weapon).

En_Dotter, I believe you didn't see the repeating crossbow in SP mods yet. I don't really think they will gonna get added to crpg. Low damage, insane rate of fire makes the game to favor heavy armor more which would be an undesired effect. I remember using a repeating crossbow in Light&Darkness: Heroes of Calradia mod.

As for dual wielding, I am keeping my hopes high for this. After all it should be similiar to shield bashes, only problem is the game should read as if we have nothing in the left hand; therefore blocking manually with our right hand as if we block with a 1h weapon (with right click). When we attempt a nudge, our left hand will have to play an animation. It doesn't even have to have attack directions. Or maybe we should just wait for bannerlord.
