I think I have tried enter but it didn't work. Why the fuck do I have to click everything twice in the main menu? The whole UI feels so unresponsive (in-game and main menu).

Good thing about it - music. Love the main menu / loading theme.

Looks pretty overpriced for what you get at launch. Was hoping this would be an X game I could get into by making it more user friendly and improving interaction/immersion. But seems they tried to improve immersion by allowing you to walk in stations, and at the same time removed immersion by making the NPC's clones, bad repetitive dialogue, pointless mini games, stealing from boxes etc. They have to get rid of that box opening stuff if I'm going to play, i'd feel compelled to open everything and at the same time remove any sense of immersion

They should put in an option to play without walking around in stations with all the NPC's available as you dock, and reduce the amount of boxes. I don't want to feel I have to walk around the station just to open them up.

Haven't played myself but looks like it needs a lot of work still

I kind of gave up after the tutorial asked me to find a security officer (or someone like that) whilst not giving me waypoints anymore. The big space stations basically have platforms spread all around it and you have to find them yourself (the local map doesn't help you at all here), you can't see the platform icon that there's actually something there unless you fly really close, so you can't just fly away enough and look back at the station to see where all the platforms are. Anyway I flew around the station for fucking 30 minutes looking for the platform where the security officer could be so I could hire him and then I gave up and uninstalled.

I don't know how it was in older X series games, I heard there was a lot of menus but at least you could get the info on where shit is and what it has eventually, here it's just frustrating, it's forcing you to fly around and "explore" which just makes it a huge chore/time waster without being slightly interesting.

You can ask people where to find a specific profession guy. Sometimes they'll tell you, sometimes they won't.

Haha, really? I tried scrolling and obviously didn't work so I just presumed it's 4/5 people per dock

seem the new X game is pretty fucked up at the  moment...but i'm sure they will  fix bugs and glitches and other shit (oviously they can't fix female voices or copilot face) but in a month or two maybe this game could be enjoyable with the help of modders obviously.
meanwhile i installed x3:TC , now i have to read pages and pages of tips and tricks and guides cause i want to be prepared :PP

Yeah, hopefully it'll be fixed eventually like Rome. Though the copilot's face is probably the best one (not saying much).All the other females in the game look like crack addicts.

I just hope the game is as big as the last one. If I end traveling everywhere I can in the first few days of play I'm gonna pull my hair out.

Bugs can be fixed easily, horrible design decisions can't. Unfortunately X: Stillbirth has plenty of both.
