This riot have NO CONNECTION with Turkish Military. What the private on the picture did was invidiual. Also some of the military houses helped the protesters by keeping them inside until the tear gas effect passed, but that is all.

These protest are all about civilians who get enough of AKP's democratic dictatorship.

I disagree. Initially it was a protest about something innocuous and harmless, a city park getting turned into yet another strip mall. As soon as it started expanding because of police brutality it became part of the general political tug-of-war between the old school secularists and the neo-liberal islamists, what I would characterize as the two main political factions in Turkey. Obviously the military is seen as sympathetic to the protesters, the civilian government as the enemies. It doesn't get much more clear cut than that.

This post of yours makes people to think "oh the military is involved in protest against the government". And I, a citizen living in Istanbul next to Taksim saying that, it is false.
You can relate some older acts to this one. You are right about the old ones, that they are somewhat military against government style. But that part is over since Ergenekon (you can do some further read on the internet i believe) and the military became government based actually. I am not saying it is wrong since we had lots of coups and military memorandums here in Turkey.

But I will say it once again. This, what is happening here in Turkey right now started in Taksim, Istanbul and expanding to the whole country. Military haven't interfered, yet. And I hope thay don't. I want this act to continue as a people movement as it started 5 days ago.

Seems to me like a coup is exactly what is needed to get rid of these fascist pigs. Have you seen Erdogan's comments on the protests, on twitter? He doesn't give one flying fuck. People dying and getting beat up and maimed by the police doesn't worry him. The only way it would worry him is if it was a threat to his political power. The widespread censoring of it in Turkey is another symptom. I hope the military step in and stop this obviously out of control government. No one else can.

No man. Not the military. Military should not interfere. We experianced it in 1960 and 1980 twice. And we had 2 military memorandums. Believe me, they were not good times.
And for the Erdoğan. I can write pages of words why I hate him so much. But it seems even you guys can understand while you are not living in Turkey.

By the way, TTNET (the biggest ISP here) restricted the access to Twitter and Facebook.
The four biggest TV channels are not broadcasting the riot.

Censorship at it's best.

I doubt Erdogan's capacity to avoid being thrown away at the next elections, or to sufficiently alter the "democratic" process so that he or his allies can stay at the head of the government for a longer time. In this context, I don't see how a coup can be a good thing.

I cant reach Facebook, damn you TTNET! Also Obe, if military steps in, that would be worse than this moment, Turkish people wants to be free, people wants to think whatever they want, they want to drink whatever they want after midnight, they want to live in a place that is not sold to foreign companies...

He is gaining votes of people who cant even think who to vote, Turkish people are really stupid, those protesters are intelligent ones.

That's happening everywhere, not just in Turkey. Problem is that children can't vote because they are too young but elderly and senile people can. I'm not for democracy and don't believe that every person has the same right to vote. Educated people should count as multiple votes and that would fix a lot of issues democratic societies have atm.
