3 days ago, government wanted to destroy a forest in İstanbul called "Gezi Parkı" and people's reaction was unexpected by government, thousands of people left their homes to begin a protest. And they re resisting the police 3 days and on.Even the TSK (Millitary) warned the police. Soldiers hand over gas masks to protesters . And this movements re taking part in Spain,Netherlands,Germany aswell. I want to say, if you re living in one of those places, or you have friends near them, please warn them.-They can join if they want to!- Government finally barked at the wrong tree.Do not Praise Erdogan, kick his ass, forever!

Also there is a rumour about police using real bullets against protesters, its not taking part in my city, so i am sitting here and...  writing this...


Jihadist groups have closed the way to a neighbourhood of İstanbul called Tophane, they re not letting protesters pass there, and shouting slogans like praise "AKP,praise Erdogan."

Please do not comment like a troll, this is a serious thing taking part on Europe too, the time has come, Turkish people woke up against the shit of government, someone had to share this with our beloved community, so i did.

Just realized , more than half of the videos we shared here got removed from Youtube , Facebook and Twitter.

Bumping this by the way, because protests will start again in a couple of weeks, because government is trying to censor nearly EVERYTHING on internet this time, to prevent another riot. Ex : You won't be using the word Tayyip on internet, for example. Dunno if we will be able to avoid it or not, or is it going to happen for real.We simply walked on city center of Samsun, police was there ofc but there wasn't a rioting.Support us!

I thought Turkey had a properly functioning representative parliamentary government system? What is with all the outrage at Erdogan when he has been popularly elected by a large share of the vote for ages now? Just a loud minority that does not support him?

He's in with the jihadists. Not really a follower of Ataturk's heritage. Besides, we all know what the Internet is outraged at usually isn't representative of the whole population in a given country. You can forget about the elderly and the conservatives in general.

He is gaining votes of people who cant even think who to vote, Turkish people are really stupid, those protesters are intelligent ones. Things changed since he got elected last time, you cant just smoke people who wants to protest something bad, its violent and barbaric, now its come to an "Enough!" Government is not making a statement still, they re lying through the media and deleting whats about Gezi Parkı in social network sites, I am feeling like an idiot while sitting there, i wish there was a protest in Samsun too, but religionist are more populated here, so i dont want to be stabbed by a falchion.

It's always a loud minority. Never has been different.
Doesn't change the issue that there seems to be so many "wrong things" that people accept and tolerate violence in one way or the other.

Not gonna happen and you probably know it. Just the anger talking there, mate.
Tomorrow it may keep going, Monday everyone except a few are back to work. At least that's my uneducated guess.

Some of the working companies put a workoff for monday, it seems everyone wants him gone! I know its not gonna happen, but there is a chance

I think the soldiers are doing something very important and brave, but i'm sceptical about what will happen later? will they just give the power to a democratically chosen politician?
