So to clarify the looms question.

We are allowed to use looms but a loomed item is double the price correct? As long as I am under 40k using this increased value I am fine?

Yes, as long as you can cram it in you can equip it.

When we scrimmed FCC last night I don't think there were any problems with this basically unrestricted setup. The only problem was that most of the FCC members hadn't logged into the server before, so weren't ready and didn't have proper unloomed gear so I would recommend you Atralis guys check it out before Thursday or show up a bit early Thursday and test it out cuz most likely you'll need to buy some new unloomed gear to fit in.

Also one thing that is possible if you are trying to cram in say a heavy horse is you could have your cav guy spawn with the horse and whatever armor is possible for him, and then have someone else with extra room spawn with weapons/shield for him so you might want to consider that before filling up leftover gold limit with super expensive looms. This is something we may want to make a rule against in the future but for now we aren't playing with any rules so it's legit.

I personally was able to use most of my normal battle server gear... but I generally run a lighter build. I think on the website my value fully loaded is like $28,000.. I am not able to run it due to the loom increase on the server (but I come close have to drop my boots and my axe)

The rest of the guys might have had a harder time

I'm looking to form one to test some tactics. The composition I specifically wanted to try includes:

1. Three to four 2h players
2. Two to three spearmen (either hoplite or long spear works here)
3. Two hybrid cavalry (either 1h or lancer is fine)

What's there to test with that kind of a line-up? Also, I'm down.

As long as the characters are in the roster & you aren't on multiple teams I don't think there's a problem with it.  If people change their names & stuff though update the roster/let us know to avoid confusion.  Also you'll probably want to accrue some gold so you can buy gear for the scrims
