Well the Fallen brigade used to have the santa horse archer squad which was pretty fun - but we laso did an assassin squad! it never really got big, but it was quite fun, and i still use my assassin character (Fallen_Kenkassassin) with these stats:
Level 30
Strength:9
Agility:29
One Handed:150
Throwing:127
Skill points:1
Weapon Master:9
Athletics:9
Power Strike:3
Power Throw:3

i'll be lvl 31 soon enough, 9/30 with maxed ps, pt, wm and athletics - using only daggers
For armor we used desert turban, rus shoes, leather gloves and a colored tunic, color depending on the map for camouflage (green on grassy maps, white on snowy and yellow in the desert) and then we'd just run around and throw throwing daggers and stab with our long daggers - hella fun.

My favorite 'fun build' is the Trashman

(click to show/hide)
(You can take points out of strength and put them into ironflesh if you want, I suggest the 17 str because it opens up a few more weapons for you that otherwise you'd be too weak for.)

Can use almost anything on the ground, can ride most of the horses, and is a jack-of-all-trades master-of-none.
I suggest wearing ugly/mismatched light armor, and starting the round with a club or other minor weapon.

Then, simply use whatever you can scavenge during the round.

It's both funny and intense.  If you get a group of people together it could be even funnier if you are all scrambling for weapons/horses off the fallen.

These are some good ideas, I actually have a high agi alt similar to your assassin build, it's something like

Str: 3
Agi: 36

11 WM
11 ATH
1 PS

Then I dump all wpf in 1h, and run around with a rondel backstabbing people and ninja-dodging arrows
So. Much. Fun.
You are a horrible human being clockwork.

If i ever get muted on forums, contact me on crpg.net

The ultamate back peddler- 6-33 11ATH  10WM  2PS and 190 in polearm
Use some troll peasant outfit and the longest 4 directional weapon- the scythe.
It's not only fun but extremely effective!

I always had a build in mind which I wanted to try with a bigger group of people.

The Iron Maiden:

30 Strength / 9 Agility

10 PS
7 IF
3 WM
3 ATH

Everyone has to select a female character, plate armor without a helmet and a Flamberge.
Just image you encounter a horde of female tanks with flamberges in the enemy team.

It's pretty costly but It must be a quite epic view.

Plate without helmet is kinda retarded though. Your head should at least look protected so that enemies don't target it on purpose.

Even if I'm a peasant, I always charge on guys in plate wearing no helmet. Always, its become like a norm to me.

Is this the "effective reasonable builds" thread or the fun troll thread? :D

Might as well go all the way and use a 3/36 build (1PS, 10WM, 12ATH). I have been using this build for a few generations on an alt and have a +3 scythe to go with it, it is indeed lots of fun, unsuspecting horsemen that think they can get an easy kill are in for a nasty surprise :).

Despite what people might think you can damage/kill pretty much anything with this build, only the heaviest +3 platers that know how to use movement to their advantage can be difficult. But then again, you can just run away whenever you please.

Yeh I just thought without a +3 the damage wasn't quite high enough, but I'll have to try that out
Btw are you Quickscythe then?

Yes of course, but having no helmet doesn't add much trolling to that one :?
