You should really get the water outer terrain though, looks sorta silly how land pops up in a square all around the island, 'least that's my opinion.

I feel it would be weirder being in the middle of nowhere in the ocean, or are you suggesting the outer terrain where it's surrounded on three sides by land then one side water?

Perhaps you could try to round out the "surrounding" land, IE make it less square, so it looks more like Crater Lake / Wizard Island in Oregon:

I'm going to have to go with Zilsch and say to go sea_outer_terrain_2

Highest FPS of all the options, and to be quite honest it also looks the best.  Most outer terrain options (except maybe desert and sea_outer_terrain1) look really cheesy with poorly scaled and terrible looking trees.
