It's just several props moved close together and scaled.

Amazing map, added to the OP.
1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.

Unless some dev pulls a BS move like calling it a mirror map.

Don't let my autism-fueled timesink ubermap discourage anyone from making theirs.  The goal here is to get some new content for the game -- a game in which additional map variety is a HUGE reason to keep playing.  I'm really proud of Pitfalls as it proves that maps alone can completely add new game mechanics.

Chasm is going to do the same.  I'm pretty excited to see how it plays after about a month when everyone's learned all the jumps and routes  8-)

Get out there and make something special and new!  I still want to see a big boardwalk / port / marina / fishing town map with lots of decks and ramps and boats and stairs up from underwater areas that fallen players will be forced to race up or drown.  Maps can offer game mechanics so much more interesting than all the random_village_63s!

To me it looks more like a cavfest tbh.

I think the flow could work. The big bridge is the closest thing to either spawn, and it has some cover - I can see both teams rushing it, with only a few sneaky ninja types and cav going for the other ways across, trying to flank. But yeah, ranged and cav have their freedoms, here. Which many people will like.

I don't know, maybe if our man get some complaints he'll put in some nice boulders.

are pitfalls or tropical archerfests?  i kinda thought both of those would be, esp pitfalls, but both turned out satisfyingly balanced.  not sure on EU though.

glacier valley is cavmap, yase i admit.

if chasm doesnt play well ill figure out what to do to fix it  8-)

Just thought I'd let you guys know I'm still following this thread (and sub forum), but we wont see any implementation of the maps until we have a patch. Maybe we'll have a "map contest rotation" over a weekend or so, as part of the judging process.

Keep up the good work guys, we sure need dem new maps :)

That was what I was hoping for. Regardlessly, if there are any maps you feel are so horrible one way or another they wouldn't make it into such a test rotation please do state so before hand and state a reason.

Looks decent enough, I'd advice adding some grass with a really low weight and hardness setting though were the bushes are, just a tiny bit.
