Research: What Generation were/are you before the Level/Retirement Patch? Now?

If this thread gets enough replies, I might calculate the average retirements post patch so that people know that the regular player equipment might be. (heirloom-wise)

Yeh, my clanmates have talked about this before, it makes a lot more sense that way. They should have also kept the 1500 base xp they originally had with the big patch before the minor updates and just lowered the xp bonus to 5% instead with a maximum of 100% bonus.

I was gen 1 before the patch, never cared about this retirement silliness, until everyone started abusing it post-patch, and you need at least a 3x heirloomed weapon to stay alive.

From my own experience I would want faster xp gain, 60 hours for a gen seems quite a lot, but if I see the people here, their generation gaining would be through the roof.

Currently the higher your gen the faster you gain xp, it should just be the other way around, the lower your gen the faster you gain xp.

I'm moving to a different state soon, therefore I don't have to worry about employment etc, therefore I have quite a lot of time to play cRPG. As well, for a period of time when I got most of my retirements I was really sick, and wasn't able to leave the house much. Needless to say, that helped my quest for retirements.

That's funny I really like playing the game so I played a lot and retired a lot, Goretooth in earlier post mentioned he liked the game.  But then you see people complaining and getting angry at people who retired because they don't have the same heirlooms or are smug, which seems more of a grinder mentality to me.  The heirlooms really don't make that much of a difference, I just used non-heirloomed danish great sword with non-heirloomed plate mail and did better than I usually do.  I think being a tin can is lame so i don't do it too often, but most people can afford it now so if you really are worried heirloomed people have an advantage just pull out the plate and greatswords or elegant poleaxe.
