we (nomads) only got about 5-8 people playing atm and no real leadership so we might end up having to join another clan.

Pretty good. Haven't really played that much yet, there's a lot of us, guess that's the main reason why we were able to claim a city. I think we were third in the world to claim a holding, first being SUN, which we're allied to anyway lol. They seem like a cool bunch, lots of british people. I joined them because they don't enforce some hardcore activity (they call it casual-dedicated), just that you join mumble and teamplay.

Definitely not, but it's enough to enjoy it. They did have a pretty good patch tempo before the launch, if they keep it up missing stuff should be added soon.

Finally got enough time to play for a few hours yesterday. Made an Alfar Elementalist then traveled almost the entire distance from east to west of the world (had to travel to where my clan is situated currently), which proved to be quite fun. I love that the world is seamless and has no loading screens and how everything around you changes as you travel. Also love the random stuff you can find around when travelling, like boxes, chests and chaos chests. Found quite a few of the latter since I travelled so far, so I ended my journey with 3000 gold just from chaos chests.
Also had 2 guys chasing me at one point and 4 bears on another occasion.

We missed having the dominion for a hamlet by like a half hour.  SUCKS.  GAME IS SHIT.   

But for serious, game is amazing.  Some obvious glaring errors, but there's nothing like it really..  EVE is the closest thing but only in metagame really.

Yeah, I cannot fucking stomach this game anymore. I really tried hard at liking it. 3000 prowess in, everything about this game reeks of a massive, tedious, boring PvE grind. You either set your char to harvest and stare at the screen for hours (if you're outside of the safezone) or you kill literally hunderds of the same damn mob to get feat completions. I won't even go into other crap (GUI, sounds, role imbalance etc). The combat system is cool and so is the open pvp/clan warfare, but no way in fucking hell I'm grinding through millions of mobs to get pvp viable. The most generic themepark mmorpg would be more bearable.

I had ZERO fun, except for that one day that I went out and just travelled and looked for chests.

Get in a decent clan and pvp regardless of how bad you think your character is. Having +1 guy in a pvp fight is better than nothing, and this game is not about fair fights

Thats my plan anyway. Got 1k prowess and already cba with grinding. Maybe the devs can increase pvp orientated feat gains

I dunno what to think really. I played DF for a solid year and a half and quit when I got sick of the lying Greek devs and lack of content updates.
