Good match there STR and Shogunate!
Some players questioned my refereeing on the match, and i thought it best to explain my actions here:
There are 4 incidents i can think of. The first one is when the map was to be changed to Random Plains(medium), and the maps were too hilly. The team that had chosen the map was not satisfied for quite a number of maps (think we restarted 8-10 times), and the other team complained. In that case i follow the rules (Meaning they can switch as much as they want) but was also giving them a max of times to switch. Everyone wants to get on with the match, and constant restarts is tiring. I think the tournament should have a rule regarding this.
The second case is when we finally found the map, and i called it LIVE right away. I want the matches to go fast, while not stepping on anyones feet. However, one team wanted to have a round off because one guy had th'ed another at spawn, thus making the round unfair. I decided to go with the round. This is my reasoning:
1) The player who wrote wasn't one of the team leaders, and he mentioned it only two times. If more members, in certain primary members, of the team had persisted, i would have called the round off.
2) Th'ing is quite minor, and i didn't see him mention how much dmg he took. It might have been a little scratch
3) I didn't see the TH myself.
4) The match had taken a long time already, and both teams had lots of time to pick players because of the many restarts.
The third incident was just after a spawn switch. I immediatly called the round LIVE to get things going, but spotted that one team had overwritten the class limits. I noted them, and they told me they wanted the round to be off. I quickly decided to call the round off. This is my reasoning:
1) If i didn't call the round off, one team would be at a serious disadvantage because they lacked a member.
2) There had been some confusion because of the spawn switch, and i decided to let them go easy.
The fourth and final incident was when the 14th round was ongoing, one member of a team didn't spawn, probably because of a
disconnection. The reason why i didn't call the round off was this:
1) The team didn't message me at all to call it off, and as so i didn't pursue it.
2) The team had replacements that could've easily taken his place. (They might all have been low-lvl, but i don't think so)
Thats all. If you got any questions about my refereeing, feel free to pm me or write here.
