Welp, I retired at lv 32.  I couldn't resist the 2 LP -- but I'm thinking this may be the last retirement on my main and I'll go the distance now.

I got a pretty good deal on a +3 HBS for an alt, and if I can't trade it for gloves in a couple days I'll just keep it in the armory.

Looks like we got a nice collection of 1h in there now.  Phew, is that your Nordic War Sword and Battle Axe?

NWS is Hamilcar's. The Axe is mine, I plan on bringing axe when I'm on siege O, and heavy Xbow when I'm on D.

Great to see you guys in siege again.  Sorry again about playing the platepiker last night.  That is a battle-only build, but it was close to 30 and I'm trying to get all my alts done with.  Honestly if KUTT ever goes super inactive again, I'd consider playing with you guys.

i used to have a MW hunting xbow, it's great for killing archers, but shooting armored targets is really similar to shooting a pellet gun at steel sheets.

I've been playing my Heavy Xbow alt (and using the +3 Heavy on my main with 53 wpf), and I have to say, that weapon is nasty. Headshots 1-shot everyone, and nearly everyone dies in two body shots. I don't think an arbalest would be much of an improvement, since it would still take two hits to kill most people, and just take longer to reload in between. Maybe you'd 1-shot a few more archers and penetrate shields a bit better, but not worth dealing with that stupid firing delay Arbalests have.

Heavy also allows 12/27 builds, which are even more trolltastic than 15/24.

yea i agree, i just forgot to put what weapons and armor weapons. Heavy xbow is best xbow and loomed im sure it is like shooting a railgun.

weapons for build would be heavy xbow, steel bolts, nordic shortsword, and heater shield
