Not sure Nebun, I count over 20 NA on the defender side - with that we can make a difference.

If DRZ and other EU join us in TS to coordinate and we steal some weapons off the attackers... let's see  :)

I was on the Templar Council in strat one you idiot. I even had the same damned name but with templar in front of it.

Ya know what is game mechanic abusing? Moving troops across the map in an hour by using the transfer space that used to be allowed in strat one. Yeah thats right, they went all the way to the trouble of spreading their players (or maybe they were just strat accounts, that's still up for debate) just for the purpose of abusing a game mechanic. And now you wanna hang us by the toes because we were aware enough to jump on an opportunity? an opportunity btw, that already existed before we even had anything to do with it. So what should we have done with this castle of 14k troops? Should we have begged the developers to remove a few thousand troops so we could please take the castle? Or should we have waited for the castle to run out of gold and start losing troops to upkeep? they had something like 1.2 million, woulda took at least another 3 month to even start losing troops. then they wouldn't have had any money to buy equipment for the defense anyway and we would have had yet another thread talking about how hospitallers and her allies are abusing game mechanics.

OK people, heres the conclusion: This castle is completely off limits, as well as any fief that has too many troops in it. Ya'll gotta wait for developers to fix our problem before we can do what we all came here to do, you know, play the freakin game.....Ya know, there's like 4 NA AI fiefs left and if any of you actually think that there are strat clans that don't want to control these fiefs, that are just happy in their own lil world and don't want to grow (free peasants of fisdnar being the exception) then you've got your head up your ass. Maybe if some of you EU fellas would start taking some of your own AI fiefs you could find something a bit more entertaining than going on a hospitaller witch hunt on these forums.

Point of this being: We didn't make this abusive issue (adding troops to AI fief). Stop your crying. Think about what alternatives to our actions you have to suggest and make a sensible suggestion. But please, listening to you all cry and moan and try to string us hospitallers up by our toes is getting to be rather tedious.

I like how he keeps pointing out how NA got fewer AI fiefs left than EU. Someone should tell him that many of the NA fiefs are owned by EU clans that got pushed out of EU.

Although it is kinda cute listening to the boy.
This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.

its about 8 fiefs. that means if those were AI, there would be like 12 in NA, which is still less than there is in EU.

never planned to attack castle on NA, and knowing about this exploit almost from the start we never used it, because it kind of sucks

lol;  not at anyone in particular, but at the witchhunt.  Listen to Knute and Egan.  Also draw a line from Jelbelgi through Rindyar and what do you see.....?  Factor in Knudarr, Tibault, Derechios, and to a much lesser extent Keledran.

Figure it out yet  :mrgreen:    A major trade route?  How would an independent merchant survive in Strat with no safe havens?  The economy of strat led to the destruction of its independent merchant class, because safe havens were being taken.....and today how many true/pro merchants are left standing???

Now replace merchant w/bandit.  Many bandit clans have consolidated and those left are now fighting for fiefs because they have no safe havens to run to. 

Don't fool yourself about the other castles either, I myself spread several hundred troops among them months ago. 

Then, back b4 the "Nebun/Vovka" wall  :P was built I started noticing large increases in troop count in mainly Jelbegi and Rindyar.  I watched and finally blamed Rindyar on ATS because they were stacked in there like cordwood.  There were a few of the HRE bandit guys in there also.  I thought it was great, if I could safely make it inside the castle; I wouldn't be kicked out or overcharged.  I also made a habit of placing any troops I recruited, while resting, inside the castle b4 leaving.  I'm not saying I'm responsible for the large #'s, I'm not.  I'm saying there were many conspirators, who didn't even know each other existed, adding to the troop count.  How many of you know the amount of troops I've dropped off???  None, because I don't even know 8-) now multiply that by anybody w/an interest in keeping those castles open (mainly Jelbegi, gateway to 22nd land...and Rindyar, end of the line,) and add to it the guys who were simply trying to get rid of troops they couldn't afford to feed. 

I can't say for a fact the Mercs or Hosp didn't put any in, but if they did; they did it in conjunction w/many of us and very gradually.  So then I would have to ask how 2 clans, the Mercs running for survival, had 4k troops to spare and the Hosp, who have been accused of being weak and in dire need of EU help to survive, found 14,000 troops to spare months ago when their need was the greatest.  14000 troops = 583 perfect days of recruiting...59 days for a clan of 10

tl/dr lol those troops have been there for months!!!  And, I doubt Mercs or Hosp put any in.

ATS put all the troops there. We realized how it would work a few months ago, and started pumping troops into rinyar. We thought it would be funny to slaughter peasants wearing plate armor. But it took too long to build up the castle and everyone got bored of it, so we left.

I am suprised it took everyone so long to figure it out though.

edit: It's not actually a good strategy, if we just were to use those troops to attack rinyar the normal way we would have taken it much sooner. But strat is pretty dead in NA, and this seemed like a good way to have a battle everyone would have thought was fun.

There was no addition of gold.  Defense equipment was precisely accurate to the gold that was in the castle.  (unless I do math poorly, but it seemed the same as Jeirbe the first time round)

haha, u betcha. And I am freakin pumped after that battle. Seriously both defense and offense, that was a really epic, good battle. I had heard that cmpx somehow increased the amount of gold the defense had. I dunno if this is true, but that's what I heard.
