What? That is just the stab, the right swing and stab of the long 1h's are almost comparable in effective range to all the other attacks. I love the 2h stab, as a 1h its quite easy to hit them during the stab stun after you blocked it, or chambered it.

Maybe you should do some research before claiming things.

Numbers can suck my dick, I know how long my sword is and I don't feel at a particularly huge range disadvantage against the greatswordbro's. Perhaps its footwork. Perhaps the 1h animations are just more easily utilised at their max range than the 2h swords. Whatever, I can play the range game with a 1h.

Two-handers like doing left or right swing at max reach, quick backpedal and stab to the face. Polearmers ends their double-attack with a right swing since it's their longest animation. Watch two good players duel, one with a ~90 length weapon and one with ~120. Do you think it would be a normal block -> attack pattern all the time? Nope, a lot of the good players try to use the reach advantage to the max.

If you with one-handed weapon know your footwork well and can stay at your max range with the right swing, you can punish those moves.

And all of that assumes you're against a noob, Gurnisson. Anything is good against bad players.... yes, you can circle someone who kicks if he's bad and then he won't do it anymore. Or you can punish them for trying to double attack if they don't know the range. You can also spam bad players with any weapon, doesn't mean spam is good or OP.

I agree with gurni. Good players wont just hit and block for ages, that wont lead em anywhere. So they will try to do a few tricks/moves, specialy if they are some of the oldies of c-rpg. Who were used to use alot of tricks back in the days.

One handers don't out range 2hers or polearms, period. Which means there is no such thing as "playing the range game" against either of these two weapon types. You're just taking advantage of someone that is bad.
