I pulled a muscle in my groin a few weeks after I first started. Just got to do a few stretches and warm up a bit with some walking (well I do anyway, about 10 mins warm up before the jog then 10 mins after cooldown), and for me I much rather to pace myself and do like 15 mins a day but be consistent, than to push myself too much and then not be able to keep it up for 5 days. So I could probably do more but I am kinda wary of causing some injury and then not being able to jog for a while
Depends though, you could get lazy and then not push yourself enough. Even if its just 5 mins a day, its probably better to do 5 x 5 than 1x25 + injury or rest period
