everything is in the title.

Here are the stats:

German Greatsword:

weapon length: 123
weight: 2.5
difficulty: 15
speed rating: 92
weapon length: 123
thrust damage: 26 pierce
swing damage: 38 cut
slots: 2

Danish Greatsword:

weapon length: 124
weight: 2.5
difficulty: 15
speed rating: 92
weapon length: 124
thrust damage: 24 pierce
swing damage: 40 cut
slots: 2

Normally, the only difference between the two is that the danish is longer and has a better swing while the German has a better thrust.

But once in play, after having made a test between a MW danish and a MW german, I just make sure the german is much faster.

Of two weapons of the same speed rating, the longer one will swing slower even if it is only a 1 point difference.
Maybe you are not bad, but you are a boring person. Well, that's the end of the matter.

I agree, but why put the same stats ?

It's a bit unfair, especially since it is sold dearer than german.

Had I known, I would have taken a German.

Speed rating is animation speed, it's completely unrelated from weapon length. Two weapons of the same class (i.e. with the same animations) with the same speed rating will complete a swing in the exact same time (assuming same character stats and no maluses from having a shield, etc, etc...).

Danish GS does seem slower. Every time I pick it up it feels a lot less smooth than German GS.

So you are in agreement that if a weapon with a greater length and thus a larger radius (even 1 cm) rotating at the same speed should be slightly faster in this case.

But it's the opposite this product, so there is an error.

Noticed this aswell, tried to do a comparison but the animations are so fast that I can't do anything with my max 60 fps recordings. I really doubt the model difference can cause such a difference in my perception of the weapon's speed.

A fun thing to do could be replacing the model of the German with the Danish or the other way around and see if you can determine which is the German and which is the Danish based on speed. So you just equip them both, swing both, then guess which one is which, then drop both to check. Do it ten times, if you get it right like 8/10 times there is definitely something there. Sadly I don't know how to replace a change models.
