I was talking about custom maps that were made specifically for the Acre server. Keeps people interested.

Oh, well that's different if I were you I would just pic a mapper off that list in that thread I linked you and PM them, most of them are so eager to get maps on servers, and genuinely love mapping so much that they would jump all over the chance to make you guys some maps. You might also start a post in that subforum.  Did you have any specific themes in mind?

Mostly desert-ish type maps I think. Perhaps some with our banner on them. We might eventually make an event like "Crusader *whatever day we pick*". Which will be a collection of maps put on the rotation for said day. Something like historical crusader sieges or something.

The Crusaders of Acre simply does not have the funds to continue paying for such a server as the one we have. We had a month left, but we decided it would be better to get a 60 dollar partial refund. The server has been downgraded to a 25 man server without the bells and whistles it had before, such as a dedicated core. We now have a 4-core processor and 25 slots, as mentioned before. The server may or may not continue to be linked to the database. We might use it as a training server, but also a small battle server for the public. Not sure yet, we'll decide soon though.
